How to start the quest "Tainted Honor" in KCD 2
You can start the quest Tainted Honor by completing the previous quest "Nightmare" and visiting the painter in Kutna Hora. When you start a dialogue with Vojta, choose the line "What other help do you need?".

Visit Přítoky and try to negotiate with the bailiff: in the conversation, the servant of the law will refuse to give the master the precious lapis. After this, Henry will only have to finish the picture before he is driven out of the castle. To complete the game and receive all the rewards, do not rush to complete the goal, but agree to the performance and teach the old man a lesson, after which take the lapis lazuli under the cover of night.
Receive the reward promised to the artist
Go to the construction site in the southwest of the village of Przhitoki. Based on the quest marker, you need to find a local bailiff, to receive the reward promised to the artist from him. The guardian of order is usually in his chambers on the second floor or walking around the village.
Talk to the bailiff to find a compromise on receiving payment for the work Vojta has done. The guard will offer a deal: Henry gives in in battle, and in return receives the promised lapis.
If you just want to complete the quest, agree and go straight to the painted wall.
Find Adela of Mniszech near the willow and insult her
From the entrance to the castle under construction, head west to the spreading tree. Near the willow, talk to Adela of Mniszech and decide whether to hand over the bailiff or carry out the agreement:
- Insult her - everything will go according to the bailiff's plan. Choose any of the following options, the conflict will begin regardless of the line.
- Reveal the bailiff's plan — the lady will offer to teach the guard a lesson for his meanness and will reward him generously in case of victory. In this case, you will have to mine the lapis lazuli yourself.
An easier method of completing the quest is to fulfill the agreement with the soldier, but for helping Adela you can get 1000 groschen.
Fight in a duel with the bailiff
Regardless of the choice in the conversation with Mrs. Mniska, you will then have to participate in a duel with a man:
- To get the stone from the guard, do not tell the girl about the plan, skip all the blows and lose in battleIn this case, the man will fulfill his promise and give the lapis lazuli.
- To help the lady from Mniszech win in a fair fight bailiff. After winning, you will receive a monetary reward from the lady, and all other goals will remain active, but now Henry will be driven out of the castle by guards.
If you decide to help Adela, tell her about your intention to get the stone. She will promise to order her guard in front of the bailiff's chambers to let Henry in.
Add the finishing touches to an artist's work
To get inside, go around the fortress to the left or right of the entrance. On the road side there are scaffolding, which you can use to get into the inner courtyard of the castle. Then go up the inner stairs and open the door. It is better to either wait for the guard to leave, for example, by opening the door for him, or sneak into the building at night.
If you don’t intend to steal lapis, but just want to ruin the painting — sneak into the room during the day.
Walk down the corridor and go up to the second floor. The first door on the right leads to the bailiff's room. During the day, a bailiff is on duty near the chambers. Guard Jedlicka, having conveyed Adela's promise to him, you will be able to enter the room without difficulty.
By the window next to the bed you will notice a work by the artist Vojta, which you can examine and spoil. Important finish painting before stealing azure, otherwise the target will disappear and the trophy will not be received.

After leaving the castle, it remains to return to Kutna Hora and tell the artist about the fate of the painting. If the precious stone was taken, there will be more options:
- “I finished painting your picture” - Vojta will thank you for the work done, the lapis, if it was received, will remain with Indro.
- "I brought you a gem and finished the picture" — the master will be upset that Henry did more than he was asked to, but he will take the stone.
- "I brought you a gem" - Vojta will also thank you for your help and give you a reward.
After completing the task, you can immediately start the next quest - "The Root of Evil".
Awards
Depending on the chosen method of ing, you can receive the following rewards:
- Achievement "Painted", Miser's Shell, Painting Element "Cat" - if you have completed the artist's painting. The reward does not increase for mining the stone in addition.
- 225 groszy, miser's shell, element for painting "Cat" - when you hand over the stone to the master, you will receive an additional monetary reward.
- 1050 groschen - a separate reward for helping Adela.
