The protagonist's answer will not affect further progress, plot and rewards, but the leader's reaction to each line will be different.
Descend the catwalk and walk with Kinich to go over the details of the plan. The Hunter suggests clearing one of the Rifts of monsters and moving the Mountain King inside, so he can live on without posing a threat.
The entire tribe is divided into two camps and a serious conflict is brewing: some want to protect the legacy of the glorious past, others - their loved ones. Continue to behave as before, distracting people from Kinich, while he focuses on finding a way to cause the Rupture of the Abyss.

I, the fire-bringer
Take a walk through the tribe's territory and find out the people's opinion about the Mountain King - their symbol, which fell under the influence of the Abyss. Help the residents in need and meet with Kinich the next day to test the device to call the Rift. The traveler will unexpectedly run into an old acquaintance who will run away in cowardice, just like in previous times.
Walk around the tribe the next day (08:00 - 12:00)
Scroll to the right hour and talk to Huni and Toba near the obsidian totem pole. The children represent the division within the tribe, refusing to be friends due to different views on the fate of the Mountain King. And although the Traveler manages to reconcile them, nothing remains the same.
Continue walking through the tribe and approach the people dancing ahead. While the dance rehearsal for the Night of the Flame of the Turning is taking place, meet Thiago - a young man who always participated in the celebration, but this time he refused due to the growing threat.
Thiago also shares that he recently came across a strange mural depicting a human and a Saurian engaged in some sort of Saurian-era pact ritual. Fight your way through the monsters of the Abyss and snap a photo of this relic for your new acquaintance.
Go to the place where Thiago indicated the drawing is located
Move in Yumkasaurus, using the nearest available Soul Torch, and climb up the cliff using the Dendro Symbols to get to the desired point faster.
Near the ruins, defeat the monsters, three Hounds of the Rip, and examine the drawing placed on the half-destroyed stone wall.

Go to the house of the elder Trinidad
Use the fast forward function to wait until the next day (18:00 - 20:00) and return to the tribe to talk to Trinidad and begin the ceremony.
During the Night of the Flame of Turning ritual, you cannot change the composition of the squad. Choose heroes who own Pyro element for the future battle with The gluttonous mountain king yumkasaurus.

How to light the nine pillars correctly:

- Continue to the next two pillars - try to go as fast as possible catch on to the green symbol, which forms a platform for the yumkasaurus. Otherwise, the dragon might fall without feeling any .
- Use the same method to get to the fifth, sixth and seventh fires, keeping to the left side and moving in a circle.
- The eighth brazier will have an orange pedestal that allows you to climb up to the final pillar - take the spark there, and the first part of the fire ceremony will be complete.

Go to the cave where the Mountain King sleeps
You can also go down the Dendro symbols in the form of a yumkasaurus or leave the body of a dragon to glide on wings. In any case, the next soul light is hidden in the cave, so you can choose a comfortable way and quickly get to the falling waterfall.
Move further along the river into the cave. The spark will still follow, lighting the nearest torches and lighting the way, but you don't need to activate all the fires along the way to complete the stage.
Clear the area of Void energy and light the brazier
At the next waterfall, a view of a spacious dungeon will open up, where several pillars are blocked by the energy of the Abyss. If you left the dragon's body earlier, then again enter the yumkasaurus, since here you need to light all six purple braziers:
- Go down the Dendro symbol below and absorb the nearest one flame grenade, aim and throw the projectile into the fire above.

- Grab the charge from below and throw it at the third pedestal, then change position again.
- Find a free Flamefruit below and use it to light the fourth brazier above your head.
- Pull yourself up to the platform near the waterfall and take the nearest fruit growing on the very edge.
- Turn forward and launch a projectile at the fifth bonfire, after which you can move on to the step below.
- Absorb the Flame Grenade on the right and send it to the final pedestal, completing the second part of the Flame of Turning challenge.

Light the last torches and the altar
If you lose your dragon, use the nearest soul light located in the pool and use the powers of the yumkasaurus to pull yourself up to the orange platform above your head.
Now you can proceed to the final stage of the ceremony:
- Move closer to the first torch, activating it with a spark, and use the hook to pull yourself to the second one.
- Stick to the left side and climb up to the rock where the third device is hanging. From there you can move to the fourth candle, which is on the opposite side of the arena.

Implement the final step of the plan
After lighting the torches, an automatic cutscene will start, in which Kinich and the Traveler activate the main altar. The elder and the chieftain will arrive at the site, trying to lure the heroes to their side and decide the fate of the Mountain King.
The main character will once again face a difficult choice - what to answer Trinidad:
- I've changed my mind. I don't want to kill the Mountain King, — the elder will be angry because the heroes were in cahoots all this time.
- It was Kinich's idea. I have nothing to do with it, — will lead to the same outcome of events.
In any case, the Saurian Hunter will attempt to imprison the legacy in the Rift, but Trinidad will interfere with the process and destroy the device. The man will sacrifice himself, wanting to show the danger of a king consumed by the powers of the Void, and a battle will ensue.
Defeat the Mountain King
In of mechanics, the story boss is no different from the world enemy. Voracious Mountain King Yumkasaurus. To defeat him easily, follow the tips below:
- Use Kinich's elemental ability (Eshka) to grapple onto an enemy and fly in a circle, dodging powerful projectiles.
- Move to the side when the king falls to the ground and starts spinning, otherwise you will take damage from Dendro.
- You can consume food or potions that will help increase attack power, defense, health, and reduce susceptibility to Dendro elements.
- Attack the stationary boss, set the flame grenades on the floor on fire with Pyro Elemental and reduce the enemy's health bar to 1/4, then the battle will automatically be interrupted by a cutscene.
Speak with the Mountain King one last time and say goodbye - Kinich will imprison his powers and free the greatest symbol of the Crownspawn tribe from the influence of the Void.
Ask Chief Wayna
When everything is over, you will automatically return to the tribe's territory and will be able to start a conversation with Waynu. The man will inform you that Trinidad's condition has stabilized and he will survive. After yesterday's incident, a transparent shell has formed around the Mountain King's body, isolating him from the Abyss.
Talk to Kinich
Return to the entrance to the Mountain King's cave in the Tequemekán Valley and ask the hunter for more information about the king. According to the guy, it's easy to die for your sins - it's much harder to live with guilt. In the end, the Mountain King chose the latter option - for the sake of Burkin and the entire tribe, but now there is no need to worry about his health.
At this point the task will come to an end, but the final scene will unfold in front of a familiar drawing... Sanka tells the children how he managed to overcome the grievances of the past and reunite with his yumkasaurus friend.
