All Trainers in Dune Awakening: Where to Find - Map and Route

List of all available teachers with instructions on how to reach them.

Battle of the Swordsmen

Skills and Specialty Trainers in Dune: Awakening are found throughout most of Survival and are needed to obtain additional abilities. Having chosen one of the classes at the start of the story, do not limit yourself to its skills, but go look for a mentor. Having completed his task, you will be able to open access to three branches of the new archetype and add its skills to your arsenal.

Combining different classes is an extremely convenient mechanic that allows you to create various builds and increase the effectiveness of your hero. In the guide, we will share the location of all mentors in the starting location of the Basin of Hagg, show how to get to them, and what needs to be done to open a new archetype.

How to open new specialties

In the world of the MMO game Dune, you can learn any of the five specialties from a trainer. To do this, you will have to find the right NPC on the map and take a task from him. You will not be able to get to most of the teachers on foot, since the map is filled with huge sandy territories with Shai-Huluds living under them. To expand your horizons for exploration and get to each of the mentors, you will first need to build at least the simplest transport - a sand motorcycle.

Advanced level teachers are located in the social areas of Harko Village and Arakeen. Access to them will open later, as you progress through the story.

Teachers' tasks may vary: some ask you to get resources, while others send you to carry out assassination contracts. They may also vary in duration and the number of quests in a series. Don't rush to open all the classes, enjoy the gameplay and eventually you will still get access to each of them.

Where to Find All Trainers to Unlock New Classes in Dune: Awakening

General map with location of teachers

In total, the Hagga Basin is home to 5 Skill Teachers entry-level, one for each class. Two can be accessed almost at the very beginning, even without transport. The remaining 3 NPCs are located in higher-level locations where access is not blocked, but it is almost impossible to reach them on foot.

Infantryman's trainer

Gavuri is in the first trade post "Griffin's Shelter", where the plot will lead the hero shortly after the start. The required key point is on the rocks in the northern part of the starting area South of the Hagga Basin and is easily accessible even if you decide to visit it before starting the main quest.

To unlock the Footman, you will need to complete a quest to kill three targets. They can be found in the eastern part of the South of Hagga Basin, about two kilometers from the trading post "Griffin's Rest". After eliminating all the enemies, return to Gavuri and receive the Footman class.

Planetologist Trainer

As the only class that can't be chosen during hero creation, the Planetologist can be very valuable to many players. Derek Chinara expects the hero in Chinary camp, on a cliff to the east of the Griffin's Haven. The landmark below can serve as a reference point. Imperial Testing Station No. 2, where the hero will also get to one of the initial quests. Find a fairly gentle climb up the mountain or just climb a steep cliff, keeping an eye on your stamina. The camp is easy to recognize by the presence of many plants in it.

The mission requires you to go down to the testing station and obtain a rare material. Numerous enemies will interfere with your peaceful exploration. Fight your way deep into the station and find the necessary resource in one of the containers. Return to Derek and you will be able to unlock new abilities.

There is a possible bug where Derek Chinara is missing from the camp. If he is not there, he is most likely in the air near the rocks nearby. In this situation, you will not be able to access him. Wait for some time, then check for him again.

Mentat Trainer

Samyn Monroe will be found on Basin Guardian Outpost in location Hagga Basin, on the southern border with the East of the Vermilia Depression. Run to the indicated point, where you will be able to find the mentor.

Sword Master Trainer

Arno is harder to get to, as he is one of two mentors located far to the north. You can either play through the story and wait for the ornithopter to open, or head to him immediately after visiting Samin Monroe. Stock up on water and fuel and head to the area along the gorge to station "Vershina" in Jabal Eifrit Al GharbHere you need to find the character waiting next to the bar counter.

The Sword Master has prepared a series of 8 tasks that may take quite a long time to complete. The result of this series of tasks will be the acquisition of swordsman abilities with the unlocking of the corresponding skill branches.

Trainer Bene Gesserit

If you have reached the Vershina station, climb up from it to the plateau East Barrier wall and find Sister Mesa in Gates of Helius further south, at the very border with the location of Jabal Eifrit Al-Gharb. Complete a series of 6 quests for the NPC to unlock access to the abilities of the Bene Gesserit.
