In Dunwick, Eivor will hear a cry for help. If you arrive at the call, the hero will find himself in front of a barricaded room that looks like a prison. But if Eivor hits a chicken, the whole group will attack him, just like in The Legend of Zelda.

One of the least anticipated Easter eggs in a universe like Assassin's Creed is a Harry Potter reference. In the city of Ravensthorpe, the player has the opportunity to explore every nook and cranny to find the pages of a book. While in a secret prison room in Dunwitz, Eivor discovers an old letter there. The message written in it describes true madness, because the one who wrote it believed in the existence of talking spiders. Just a note from a man - that's what most players would think. But not those who are familiar with Lovecraft. The true essence will be revealed to them.
One of Lovecraft's most famous stories is called The Dunwich Horror. It tells about the fate of the city, whose name differs by one letter from the place where Eivor is located. The story describes an arachnid-like creature similar to the Nightmare from Dragon Age: Inquisition. He eats local animals.
Eivor Who Lived
In the London zone of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players can find a hut guarded by a snake. After killing this guardian, players will be able to enter the room and find a strange list that contains seven items: a diary, a ring, a medallion, a chalice, a diadem, a snake, and finally, a mysterious item labeled "???". Of course, Harry Potter fans should know that these items are references to Horcruxes in the franchise. And the reason the last element is marked with question marks is because the seventh Horcrux is Harry himself.
Gryffindor or Slytherin?

The first stage of the quest is to find a list of four items. A conversation with the owner of the trading post will indicate that these items have not yet been shipped by their buyers. At this point, the easter egg becomes clear: Eivor can play the role of Sam Porter Bridges of the Viking Age and go through the difficult journey to deliver these items to their waiting owners.

The Prodigy on stage
Do you like British electronic music? If yes, then you definitely recognized Keith as a reference to vocalist Keith Flint, who was the frontman of The Prodigy. His signature style has been cleverly copied for a playable character, and this reference touched many gamers.
In the game, the bard is called the "messenger of dark forces" and they want to kick him out, forbid him to perform. Eivor can help Keith defend his right to be creative, and then the musician compose a daring and perky song for him, the name of which echoes the real track of the group. Robin Hood in Viking style

In this forest, just like in the novel, lives a great hero - Robin Hood. True, in the game his name is different, but he also commands a horde of merry robbers and deftly shoots from a bow. This subtle reference, of course, does not affect the plot, but it is definitely pleasing to the eye.
