Meditation places in Black MythWukong - interaction points located in hidden areas of story zones, which significantly speed up the leveling of skills, combat stances and spells, as they provide additional points as a reward after using the function "Meditate". These objects can be found in all major locations of the main campaign, except for the sixth.
In the guide we will show the location of all meditation places in Black Myth Wukong: we will look at the main routes and indicate the exact number in the territories of each story chapter.
What are the meditation spots for in Black Myth: Wukong?
Places for meditation — active zones, within which the Chosen One can meditate an unlimited number of times, opening up the general explorable area to view. The reward for finding the area with the objects in question on your first interaction is spark. Subsequently, it can be “invested” in the skill tree to learn a new skill from the “Basic” and “Staff Stance” categories, or to strengthen a frequently used spell.
In total, during the age of the main story campaign you can find 24 places of meditation:
- first chapter - 3;
- second chapter - 6;
- third chapter - 5;
- fourth chapter - 6;
- fifth chapter - 4;
- sixth chapter - missing.
Next, the route to each will be considered. The path is fixed according to the principle: the nearest incense altar -> route -> point of interaction with the object.
All Chapter 1 Meditation Sites on Black Wind Mountain
On the territory of the Black Wind Mountains you can find three places for meditation.
Meditation Place 1
Incense Altar: Wolf Forest -> Forest (outside).
The first place of meditation is “training” - it reveals the principle of interaction with the object and indicates that when activated, the Chosen One receives an additional point for pumping up the ability tree. The path to it is linear within the framework of the plot and starts from the “Near Hills” altar: before approaching, you will have to fight with the elite yaoguai Bull guard, following the will of the Guardian of the Altar.
If for some reason you missed a point, move to the altar "Forest (outside)" and go deeper into the cave. Move forward until you come to an open area with a single-cornice pagoda, where there is a small ottoman.
Meditation Place 2
Incense Altar: Bamboo Grove -> Distant Hills.
Use the descent to the lower level of the location. At the fork with the smaller yaoguai, turn left, so you will find an arch that leads to a small cave.
Head inside to reveal a hidden area with a horse NPC telling the Chosen One about the Black Bear Guai (the main boss of the first story arc) for the first time, and a second ottoman for relaxing.
Meditation Place 3
Incense Altar: Bamboo Grove -> White Mist Swamp.
After defeating the elite Yaoguai Guan-mou and interacting with another blue flame, which gives access to the power of an elite monster, open the location “White Mist Swamp”. From the altar, move straight to the wooden platform and meet monkey shen. Then continue down.
The road will lead to a small pond where a boss battle will unfold - Hanging out in white robes. Defeat an enemy whose battle is divided into two phases (normal form and enhanced form).
Once the enemy is defeated, you will find a fork:
- left - the direction towards the “cave” zone will lead to the bell, necessary to summon the hidden boss, Venerable Elder Jin-chi;
- forward - exit to the next story area, where the last meditation site of Black Wind Mountain is also located.
Go into the cave recess (forward): the path is linear and has no forks. Soon you will find yourself in an open, illuminated area, where you need to turn left and go to a kind of balcony area.
At the end of the path, find the last meditation place in Chapter 1. Further forks in the area will in turn lead to the elite Yaoguai, the Black Wind King.
All Chapter 2 Meditation Sites on Yellow Wind Ridge
In the Yellow Wind Ridge locations you can find six places for meditation.
Meditation Place 4
Incense Altar: Sand Gate Village -> Entrance to the settlement.
From the Guardian's altar, walk forward a few steps. Standing on the bridge, jump down towards the cave.
On your first visit you will meet at the cobblestone a fox, who will ask the Chosen One to kill the annoying toad Lan-li-gu-bao. Go to the edge of the area where:
- if you jump into a body of water, you can defeat an elite enemy;
- If you turn left and walk towards the closed area, you will find the first meditation spot in the Yellow Wind Ridge area.
Meditation Place 5
Incense Altar: Temple of the Crouching Tiger -> Entrance to the temple.
After defeating several elite opponents - the King, the Second Son and the First Son of the Flowing Sands - you will be able to reach an area called "Temple of the Crouching Tiger", where a battle with a powerful Tiger Guardian. After interacting with the Temple Entrance altar, go up the stairs to a higher level.
Before reaching the main entrance to the main boss area, turn towards the “closed” branch located on the left side. As a result, you will come to an ottoman located opposite a tall tiger statue.
Meditation Place 6
Incense Altar: Fear Rock -> Stone Plain.
From the altar, go towards the arch leading to the arena with the elite yaoguai Stone Guard, as well as the location of the hidden boss Guard Sign (to summon, you must first collect the item "Eye of Buddha" in the amount of 6 pieces).
Once in the area, continue forward - go through the arch that fell to the side. So come out to the altar of incense "Rockfall".
Activate the move point, go from it to the next area of the area.
Be careful: there's a lot ahead Rat Governor, which, when carrying out an attack, will launch a powerful electric discharge at the Chosen One. At a low level of pumping, it can kill a monkey - use “Mysticism” to immobilize the enemy.
Once you've dealt with the smaller yaoguai, take a few more steps forward to reach the lounging ottoman located between the two statues.
Meditation Place 7
Incense Altar: Fear Rock -> Stone Plain.
Return to the altar "Stone Plain" and from the arch leading to the arena with the elite yaoguai Stone Guard, go towards the Bone Spearman, blocking the path to the next part of the location, where he sits drunken boar.
You can talk to the NPC to gain access to a hidden task, then continue moving forward until you reach a dried tree, under which there is an ottoman for meditation.
Meditation Place 8
Incense Altar: Temple of the Crouching Tiger -> Entrance to the temple.
Exit to the arena where the battle with the Tiger Guardian took place and approach sculptureto lay Stone hardness and tiger sensitivity. This action will unlock a hidden area with several areas, a helpful NPC who creates drinks with special effects, and the main boss of the area - Sage of the Yellow Wind.
Explore the unlocked area until you reach the altar "Cellar". From there, go down to the lower level and turn right at the fork.
Next, go through the high stone arch and go deeper into the “closed” part of the location, where you will meet with the statues A wise mentor, and also find the desired object for interaction.
Meditation Place 9
Incense Altar: Hidden place "Kingdom of Sakhali".
In order to open the hidden area, you must complete a side quest for the drunken boar, who can be found not far from meditation places No. 7. The objectives of the additional mission are as follows:
- Need to bring the pig "Stone of Sobering", which can be purchased from the Stone Man after completing his quest to find the Stone Guai in the cave.
- Meet the boar at the Temple of the Crouching Tiger and, after purchasing jade lotus at the altar store “Entrance to the Temple”, give away a tasty treat.
- Return to the location in Stone Plains where the NPC was first encountered, then fight him as a boss and gain access to the required hidden location.

Once the area is open, explore it for an altar "Sand Gate Outskirts".
Run straight from it to a dried up tall tree (almost on the edge of the location). Thus, find the last place of meditation in Chapter 2. Then here you can fight the hidden boss Fuban, as well as get useful materials when exploring the general area.
All Chapter 3 Meditation Locations in New West
While exploring the zones of the “New West” location, in general you can stumble upon five places for meditation.
Meditation Place 10
Incense Altar: Snowy path -> Mirror Lake.
After meeting with the Guardian of the New West and opening the Mirror Lake altar, run towards the wooden platform covered with snow, which is located under a tall tree. When approaching, you will immediately notice the desired object with the active action “Meditate”.
Meditation Place 11
Incense Altar: Pagoda World -> Wheel (outside).
Having slain The wise-voiced captain and after receiving his spirit, leave the area affected by the pagoda and activate the incense altar "Wheel (outside)". Then go deeper into the cave, climbing the laid out stairs. Thus, you will come out to a shallow water surface: continue moving forward, then turn around the corner (on the opposite side, near the withered tree, you can pick up the Fragrant Vine to improve the bottle).
Leave the cave, continuing forward along the snowy path. The further path is linear and does not suggest any additional forks on which to focus attention.
Soon, you'll come to an area with a low wooden fence and a chest. Take the reward and destroy the barrier to pave the way to the next secret area. Run along the rocky walls.
Deal with active and frozen enemies in the dead-end area so that they do not interfere with third-party interactions later. As a final action, approach the tree next to which the eleventh meditation site is located.
Meditation Place 12
Incense Altar: Bitter Lake -> Corridor of Vows.
From the incense, head straight towards the wooden platform - this will take you to a small area with a linear age leading to a small monk and a puzzle involving four Buddha statues. However, before this, activate the meditation place, and then take the reward from the chest located on the wooden table near the stone monument.
Meditation Place 13
Incense Altar: Valley of Delights —> Rock of Awareness.
After you solve the puzzle in the story campaign, four Buddha statues and open a new area leading to the top of New West, you can follow the linear path to the incense "Rock of Awareness". From there, run forward to the battle arena, where the first phase of the battle with the "Non-White" enemy will take place. Exhaust the enemy, then overcome the low arched opening.
After climbing the stairs, you will come to an area with several frozen monks: destroy them to get a small amount of Willpower, then continue moving in the designated direction (then you will be able to defeat four more monks, but of a larger build).
Once inside the small shrine, be sure to pick up the extra reward for the Chosen One from the box. Then continue along the road in the linear key.
As soon as you reach the stairs, use them to climb up to the next level of the location. This will take you to the area where the second and final phase of the battle with the boss "Non-White" will take place, after which you will be able to interact with the thirteenth meditation site.
Further descent along the snowy slope will allow you to reach a dead man with a snow-white fur coat on his shoulders: examine him to begin fulfilling the fox's order.
Meditation Place 14
Incense Altar: New Temple of Thunderclaps —> Temple Entrance.
Once you reach the Thunderclap area, go inside one of the temple buildings and then exit through the available exit.
Deal with four monks who have a predisposition to thunder and electric magic, then go to the next level of the location, using the left rise. Run forward, turn right at the fork.
Strike down Clay vajra, which actively uses mass fire strikes and powerful attacks with equipped power weapons. Then climb up to the next temple buildings.
From the two giants, go to the temple located on the right. This will take you to the arena with the boss "Imperfect". Kill the enemy, then activate the last meditation place in Chapter 3.
