First update of the web event region of Nod Krai, has revealed important information regarding the factions that will be featured in the Genshin Impact story. It turns out that, in addition to the currently unknown organizations, many familiar associations will also take part in the story.
The event page now features descriptions and icons for the eleven factions that will appear in Archon quests and world quests.
- Fatui — by order of the Queen, the army under the banner of the Pale Star and Forerunners were recalled from the regions back to Snezhnaya and stationed in Nod-Kray.
- Adventurer's Guild — the region is home to the organization’s main stronghold territory of Snow, designed to help travelers. Upon arrival in the northern city, the protagonist should be met by someone important from the headquarters of the guild itself, probably the real Katerina.
- witches coven - Attracted by the dramas and conflicts occurring in the northern region, some witches will appear in Nod-Kray to gather information.
- treasure thieves — Nod's Edge is the homeland of all the criminals and thieves found throughout Teyvat. Somewhere in the northern lands, according to legend, the treasure of the famous thief Reed Miller is hidden.
- Krumkake workshop “Ding-Klats” — a large organization engaged in the production of various mechanisms for Snezhnaya. Its creator is a talented girl who once set herself the goal of creating the best device for making krumkake wafer rolls.
- Voynich Guild — an association of traders, engaged in organizing security in the territory of Nod-Kray. Mercenary fighters protect local and foreign entrepreneurs from bandits operating in the region.
- Elves of the Snowy Country — elves who were once followers of the first Cryo Archon Snow, who came from the same people. Although the times when they ruled the entire northern region have already ed, they still exert significant influence on the affairs of the kingdom.
- Children of the Frost Moon — worshipers of the moon goddess and descendants of those who were patronized by the Frost Moon herself in ancient times. Having abandoned civilization after the Primordial destroyed it with heavenly thorns, they settled in the territory of Nod-Kray and to this day hide from the locals and the Snow.
- Lightbearers — the oldest organization of Nod-Kray, engaged in the defense of the region from the forces of the Abyss and the invasions of the Wild Hunt. With the growth of enemy forces, the warriors of the faction significantly weakened their positions.
- Wild Hunt — an army of the Abyss that regularly raids Nod-Edge. It is unknown what goals these warriors pursue, according to rumors, they are trying to find something.

The mayor of the city of Snezhnaya, that is, Pulcinella, is also an elf. He has long ears, but he looks like a decrepit old man, and elves seem to retain their youth for a long time. So, the mayor is very ancient...
Looks like content for another 3 years of the game)
There are a lot of factions. There are even elves.
Will there be gnomes and orcs?
Oh my, I need to save up hard.
Then Nod Kray comes out with an analogue of the night spirit and phlogiston, which does not work in the rest of Teyvat, and again the universal howling, whining and bombing of the community begins))
I doubt it, if something like that happens, it will clearly not be exactly the same. After all, Natlan is a tribe, and everything is arranged differently there, clearly not like in Snezhnaya)
If I understood correctly, the new island of Hiisi is shown in the background, not Nod Kray itself, and apparently it will be the final part of Natlan, as a transitional one, because in the distance behind the volcano there is an island in the fog and you can’t get to it yet, of course it doesn’t look much like it, but they can change the appearance later, and there aren’t enough 48 pyroculi to upgrade the statue, and an island of this size might just be suitable.
I think it's stupid if the 48th pyrocule is in an area that belongs to Nod's End, not Natlan. And if you mean the foggy island southwest of the volcano, I see two options:
And if you look at all this, you can safely say that 48 pyrocules will be shoved into the Ash Sea, like in the last expansion of Natlan. And that same island of Hiisi, if you look closely at the landscape, is located northwest of Fontaine.
Well, the last expansion of Natlan should be in 5.7, that is, in the Dainsleif update 5.X. With the Ash Sea it will be the same as it was in Petrikor: that sea will become a Natlan location.
I have flashbacks from The Witcher because of the Wild Hunt
I'm glad I'm not the only one who had this happen)
I also ed Skyrim))
