How to start the Lost Honor quest in KCD 2
While traveling along the roads near Sigismund's camp, you can meet an incompetent robber. When you by, he will call out to you and ask you to come over for a chat. You can run into him either while simply driving along the road or while fast traveling in a random encounter. "The Polite Armed Man".
To meet Yezhek from Hologlav for sure, try to move from "Devil's Place" to Myshkovitsy during the story quest "The Fox's Den"This encounter will also allow Henry to enter Sigismund's camp without having to a skill check or pay an entry fee.
During the dialogue, you will learn that Yezhek wants to rob Henry, but he does it extremely ineptly, trying to maintain polite communication. You can try to convince him to tell you what is going on without a fight, choosing one of two options:
- "Old man, don't bully me!" (intimidation).
- "Can we talk first?" (persuasion).
If you fail, just fight Jezhek. He will surrender after receiving a few blows. The enemy is very weak, so stop in time and try not to kill the knight. After he tells you about losing his armor and horse to Zawisza of Garbow, sympathize with Jezhek to improve your reputation by choosing the following phrases:
- "It's a pity".
- "It was noble."
To take the assignment, answer: "Maybe I can help you".
During the fight with Yezhek, you can surrender yourself by holding down "L Alt". In this case, you will also be able to continue the dialogue with him and start the quest.
Walkthrough of the quest Lost Honor in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Having agreed to help the knight from Gologlav, go to Sigismund's camp and get the lost armor and horse. Choose how to complete the task: you can steal all the necessary items or fight Zawisza in a fair duel. If you choose the second option, you will meet a difficult opponent in the arena and will be able to unlock the hidden achievement "Master among masters".
Talk to Zawisza of Garbuv
Go to Sigismund's camp. If you haven't been there yet according to the story, a guard will call out to you at the gate. Talk to him by quickly answering "Q" and answer in the dialogue: "I was sent by the knight Yezhek"In this case, you will enter the camp without checking your skills and without paying a pittance.
The guard at the entrance will tell you that you can find Zawisza's tent by his banner above it. Enter the camp and go to the southern part.
Before entering the inner part of the camp, you will see a red and white shield with a black eagle emblem. Go behind it and you will find a large tent with the same banner above it. Inside the tent is private territory, so you should not go inside when someone is nearby.
While no one is looking, you can steal Yezhek's things. You can do the same with the horse in the stable by the western gate. It is easiest to steal Gringolet at night, when there is no one near the stable.
In order not to miss an extremely interesting fight and get an achievement, don't steal Jezhek's things. Talk to Zawisza of Garbow. He spends most of the day in the courtyard of his tent at the table. If he is not there, rewind time through waiting until the knight appears.
Before talking to Zavisha, be sure to save, since if the skill check fails, you won't be able to challenge him to a duel. Choose any answers, all of them will lead to two persuasion options:
- "Let's solve this issue like warriors" - you need to have a high level of skill "Conducting a battle", so that this answer would convince Zavisha.
- "You're a common murderer" is a variant through superiority that will work at a high enough level charm. It can be raised with the help of clothes, a small amount of alcohol, and also by using it before a conversation. perfume "Lev".
If the attempt at persuasion is successful, Zawisza will offer a fair fight of three rounds, for the victory in which he will give away all of Yezhek's property.
Prepare for a duel with Zawisza of Garbuv
The fight with Zawisza will consist of three battles with different types of weapons. In the first round, polearm (spears, halberds, etc.). The second battle will take place with one-handed weapons and shield (swords, maces, axes, etc.) The third round will require long sword.
Henry must have his own equipment, so before the fight you need to get everything that is missing. Henry already has a long sword - Sword of Racek KobylaTo improve its characteristics, you can go to any forge and reforge it using three pieces Toledo steel. This will not only give you one of the best swords in the game, but also unlock the achievement "Reforging".
The rest of the items can be buy or steal in the forges of Sigismund's camp. If you don't want to spend pennies on equipment, wait until night. It's not hard to get access to the chests with blacksmith goods, but they are locked with a very complex lock.
If you don't have the skill to pick locks, steal them keys to chests from sleeping blacksmiths. Their tents are located next to the forges, so this scam can be carried out quite quickly. If the stolen bunch of keys does not fit the chest, try pickpocketing the sleeping man again. Inspect all hidden cells during pickpocketing, the blacksmith should have another key.
Once you have the keys, you can easily take everything you need for the battle with Zavisha from the chest.
It is also worth considering that the polearms at the gunsmith in the camp are quite mediocre and not very suitable for serious combat. For this quest, it is best to visit the store in Kutna Hora and buy something more expensive there.
The best weapons to fight Zawisza of Garbuva:
- Polaxe - a knight's battle axe on a long shaft. Can be bought from a gunsmith in Kutna Hora for about 400 groszy.
- Knight's sword - costs about 800 groschen in the city.
- Shield - Any strong enough one will do. Buy or steal from the forge in Sigismund's camp.
- Reforged longsword of Racek Kobyla.
If you haven't fought with a polearm before, his skill will be very low. Before the fight with Zawisha, it's worth spending some time and pumping up a few levels in fights with bandits on the roads. The minimum required polearm proficiency level - 10At level 5, it is almost impossible to defeat Zavisha in a spear duel.
Once you reach level 10 with a polearm, you can take 3 perks. Be sure to unlock them. "Hardwood", since spears break very quickly, and this skill will help to preserve them.
Once you're ready, talk to Zawisza again. Pay the 300 groschen bet, and you'll be taken to the arena.
Defeat Zawisz of Garbow in a duel
While the speaker is announcing the and rules of the duel, equip all the necessary weapons. Put them in quick access slots for convenience. Before the battle, it is also advisable to drink strengthening potions:
- Artemisia - will increase strength.
- Pain Reliever - Reduces negative effects from injuries, including decreased stamina when losing health.
- "Bull's Blood" - will increase endurance.
- "Gadget" - will increase agility.
- "Living Water" - will reduce damage received.
The potions should last until the end of the fight. If not, drink again between rounds.
Winning the last two rounds will be easier if Indro has control "With a skillful blow". You can study it at Kota in the gypsy camp of the Trosky region or at Dry Devil in "Devil's Place".
If Henry is injured after the round, the soapmaker Dorota, who is standing next to the arena.
To complete the task, it will be enough to defeat Zavisha in two rounds, but the condition for obtaining the "Master of Masters" achievement requires winning all three.
Take the polearm and get into position
The first round is the hardest, especially if your polearm skill is too low. It's important to defeat Zavisha before Henry's spear breaks. If possible, equip some Polex in your quick access slots beforehand.
The most important thing in this fight is to manage to block and counterattack. Watch your opponent's spear. Once it breaks, you can pay less attention to defense and concentrate on dealing damage. Zawisza won't be able to hurt Henry in armor with just one shaft. If both fighters' spears break, the fight may become endless, so it's better to load last save.
Take a one-handed weapon and a shield and get into position
In this fight, the choice of weapon depends on what is better pumped. If you have always fought with a sword before, take it. Despite the fact that maces and hammers are more suitable for breaking through heavy armor, a high skill level is the key to victory. Follow a few simple tips to easily win the duel:
- Constantly parry and counterattack. Zavisha is very good at defending, but will sometimes get hit.
- To guarantee damage, use "Skillful Strike". It is possible to win without this skill, but in this case the fight may drag on.
- Don't neglect combinations of strikes, they are very effective in combat and help both to wear down the enemy and to inflict damage.
Take a long sword and get into position
The long sword is a weapon that Zawisza wields masterfully. This fight can seem both very difficult and easy, depending on the level of pumped skills. A huge advantage will be if you have fought with swords all the time before, in this case Zawisza will have nothing to counter Henry's skills. If you can't cope in the last battle, try using the following tips:
- Watch your opponent's hand position to avoid the "Skillful Strike".
- If you have learned "Skillful Strike", use only it, this way you can win the fastest, avoiding a long exchange of counterattacks.
- If you haven't learned "Skillful Strike", you can only rely on perfect blocks and parries. Sooner or later, you will be able to wear out your opponent enough this way.
- Using reforged sword of Racek Kobyla will speed up the battle considerably. Due to the high damage of this weapon, with a sufficient level of strength, just one precise strike will be enough.
- Perform attack chains after a perfect block, this will help break through Zawisza's defense.
Discuss the duel with Zavisha
After the duel, go to Zawisza and talk to him. He will allow you to take Yezhek's armor from the chest in the tent, and Gringolet's horse from the stable.
Obtain the armor of Mr. Yezhek
Go to Zawisza's tent and take Yezhek's belongings. The brigantine is next to the chest, and everything else is hidden inside.
Get Gringoleth, Yezhek's horse
You will find Gringoleth in the stall at the western gate of the camp.
Drive Yezhekov's horse to Przytoki
Mount Knight Jezhek's horse and ride it to Przytoki. Use fast travel to the village, and from there take the road south. Sir Jezhek is waiting in the tavern. Drive Gringoleth into the yard and leave him in the stable under the roof.
Bring Yezhek from Gologlav his armor
Find Yezhek himself in the tavern. At night, he sleeps on the second floor in one of the rooms, and during the day he sits at a table or works. You can tell Yezhek how everything really happened, or lie that you couldn't get his armor. In both cases, the quest will be completed.
