In Act 1, you can also obtain a Toledo Steel sword called "Ambroge's Broken Sword" by completing a side quest. "Hermit"This broken blade can be reforged into a mighty one. The locked dugout
This dugout is located in the Kutná Hora Region, northwest of the village of Stará Kutná, on a scorched wasteland. The door is locked with a medium lock, so use master keys. When you open the door, you will see an aggressive smuggler who will try to get rid of prying eyes.
Neutralize the rogue, go into the dugout and examine the bag with the candelabrum strung on it: inside, in addition to literature on blacksmithing, valuable metals, skins and repair kits, there are also 5 pieces of Toledo steel.
Remains of a caravan
The broken caravan can be found on the side of the road leading from Kutna Hora to Myškovice.
The robbers did not manage to loot all the goods: near the carts lies a chest with goods and a sack in which you will find 3 pieces of Toledo and Frankfurt steel, as well as other metals.
Kutna Hora
The game's largest city is the easiest place to get over 30 Toledo Steel for a price no higher than 35 Groschen each. Go to armorers, blacksmiths, and weaponsmiths to stock up on goods. Merchants can be found in the city itself and in the suburbs, outside the walls.
Each shopkeeper's stock ranges from 9 to 16 items, and they replenish after 2 days of in-game time, so you can always return to restock.
Village of Grunt
There are plenty of blacksmiths in Grunt, but only the northwestern one, Zdimir, sells goods. Go to him and buy up to 8 pieces of Toledo steel.
Sigismund's Camp
Sigismund of Luxembourg's camp has a blacksmith and an armorer. Both characters offer Toledo steel from their own stockpiles for sale. Together, they have about 20 units of steel - less than the merchants in Kutna Hora, but more than anywhere else.
How to Steal Toledo Steel in KCD 2
Each merchant stores the goods he sells in special chests. In the case of blacksmiths, such boxes are located on the territory of the forge, on the street. Toledo steel can be obtained in the following illegal ways:
- break open the chest with master keys;
- Steal the key from the merchant and open the box.
Sneak up to the chest, open it with a master key and steal the goods better at night. The method is intended only for skilled thieves working with complex or very complex locks, since blacksmiths' chests are locked with them.
Alternative option - steal a key from a blacksmith's pocket and open the chest with it, without resorting to the help of lockpicks. The method is good if Henry is a skilled pickpocketer. As a rule, merchants and blacksmiths have several keys, and it is better to steal them all, so as not to miscalculate with the bunch.
