Tier list Echo Wuthering Waves: how to get the best ones and upgrade them

Where to find, how to upgrade Echoes and which ones are the strongest. Let's explain what Echo's characteristics mean, what set effects and combinations there are.

Echo in Wuthering Waves — artifacts worn on characters, giving them characteristics, abilities and bonuses. In the world of the gaming universe, these are afterimages of killed creatures caught and transformed by the terminal, which give resonators unique skills of defeated monsters. Echoes vary in stats and bonuses, making some more useful than others in different situations.

In this guide, we will tell you how to get the best Echoes in WuW, what properties they have, how their rarities differ, and what Cost means. We will provide a tier list of artifacts and explain the general methods of where to knock out Echo.

Best Echoes in Wuthering Waves: Tier List

The tier list of Echo VuVa is based on how useful the skill acquired from it is in battle, since the character equipped with it in the first slot gets the opportunity to use the monster’s skill.

Please note that the items on the list are gradually reviewed and updated, so the list is not final and may be subject to change.

The best Echoes for exploring the world

Inferno Rider Skill Some monster abilities not only help in combat, but also make exploring the world easier. We will separately highlight such artifacts, regardless of their classes, and so on.

Name Feature
Inferno Rider If you hold down the button for calling an active skill, the resonator will not just turn into a rider, but will summon a motorcycle and will go fast on it for 8 seconds. This is very useful for ing the time, and this way you can even fly down the slopes in the air.
Dreamless
Activating the Dreamless skill breaks all nearby minerals, which is one of the fastest ways to destroy them in such quantities. Echo is extremely useful not only in battle, but also for ore farm.
Cyan-Feathered Heron Blue Heron allows you to make dash forward in the air. If you equip your entire team with this artifact at once, then with the combination of a hook and this skill you will be able to fly in a straight line for a decent distance.
Fission Junrock Little monster with joy pick up ore or flowers for the resonator and will give him everything he found. The only negative is that after one collected item, Echo disappears, but you can still call it from time to time just while you are running around the world and notice some resource available for collection.
Hoartoise The visual effects of the artifact suggest that it is aimed primarily at entertainment, but it can be useful in some situations. Turtle dance with healing lasts a full 1 minute and 40 seconds (100 seconds in total), and this is almost equal to the waiting time for the boss to respawn.
Young Viridblaze Saurian If you don’t want to waste consumables, run to the teleporter that heals characters, and don’t have any healing skills, then call this Echo. For 55 seconds you can take a nap in lizard form and restore some health.
Cruisewing From the point of view of healing resonators, this artifact is the most useful, since it has a short cooldown time and the highest recovery rates. You can simply spam this Echo to restore the hero's health.
Excarat On the one hand, Echo may seem useless, but in fact it will allow ignore almost all incoming damage and just move where you need to go (or dodge attacks). In addition, the artifact skill has a fairly low cooldown time.

Echo Set Effects

List of Echo set effects In WuVe, Echo Sets have a ive bonus given to a character for combining 2 or 5 artifacts of the same element on him. At the same time, the types of Echoes must be different - you cannot place several artifacts from the same monster.

  • For simultaneous equipment of 2 pieces, the hero’s damage to the corresponding element will increase or any characteristic will increase.
  • If you collect 5 artifacts of the same element, this will give the resonator an even more powerful effect.

What sets to put on

Depending on the role of the hero in the squad, resonators benefit from different effects of the Wuvaring Waves sets.

At the early stage of the game it makes sense to bet damage dealers the “Long Melodies” set, as they will all benefit from the attack power buff. It can be difficult to assemble a full set, so you can equip them with 2 pieces from it and 2 pieces from the elemental set. As we approach the late game, full elemental sets will become more relevant for many resonators.

Many sub-dd At the same time, they serve as buffers, so both the “Moon Clouds” Sonata is suitable for them for more frequent use of skills, as well as other options for the sake of focusing on introducing additional damage. However, the mentioned set will give a bonus to the hero who enters the field after the owner of the set.

The best effect for healers gives a "Rejuvenating Radiance". Feel free to equip them with a full set of these artifacts, but due to the lack of pieces at the beginning, you can combine them with Echoes with an elemental bonus in Wuthering Waves.

Echo Combinations

It is not always possible to collect five high-quality Echoes to create the full Sonata bonus, so sets can be combined so that the hero receives a boost from two different sets.

because of Cost limit [COST Limit] you cannot combine any artifacts together, so they will need to be distributed wisely, especially at the early level of the game:

  • At first, with a limitation of 8 There are several ways to install Echo. If the rarest one is available - 4+1+1+1+1. If the most valuable artifact is missing, then depending on the Echo elements dropped, it is 3+1+1+1+1 or 3+3+1+1.
  • If you reach the limit with the value 10, then it’s best to set 4+3+1+1+1 or 3+3+1+1+1. Alternative combinations are 4+4+1+1, as well as 3+3+3+1.
  • The maximum available “weight” is 12. The most favorable distribution in this case is 4+3+3+1+1.

Echo Characteristics

Echo Characteristics Echo in Wuvaring Waves has several main indicators:

  • Class [Class].
  • Price [Cost].
  • Element [Element].
  • Rarity [Rank].
  • Parameters.

Each artifact can be placed in a different slot of the character’s equipment. If we define it in first slot, then the owner of the Echo will be able to temporarily transform into a killed monster or summon one and use his special skill. Therefore, it is worth placing there the artifact that will most strengthen the resonator both in its ability and in its main characteristic.

Enemy rarity in the hunting interface Class Echoes can be "Common", "Elite" or "Overlord", which denotes the difficulty of the monsters that drop Echoes. Accordingly, these are ordinary, elite enemies and bosses. Together with the class, the possible characteristics of the artifacts determine Price. It also usually depends on the strength of the enemy.

Element affects which set [Set] belongs to the artifact. The more droppable Echoes can usually drop with different elements, making them more difficult to farm. For example, "Lampylumen Myriad" with a cost of 4 will definitely be Glacio. Weighing 3 "Autopuppet Scout" can drop Glacio or Spectro. At only 1 cost, “Glacio Prism” can drop with the Glacio element, Havoc, or even energy recovery.

Parameters Echoes are determined by two main stats and secondary attributes to which the character will receive an increase. Depending on the enemy class, the first main stat may include:

  • Normal: HP%, Attack Power%, Defense%.
  • Elite: HP%, Attack Power%, Defense%, Energy Regeneration%, Elemental Damage%.
  • Boss: HP%, Attack Power%, Defense%, Crit. damage%, crit. chance %, treatment bonus %.

The second main clause contains:

  • Normal: Permanent health.
  • Elite: Constant attack.
  • Boss: Constant attack.

There are a total of 12 possible substats, regardless of enemy type:

  • Constant health [Flat HP].
  • Constant attack power [Flat ATK].
  • Constant protection [Flat DEF].
  • Health percentage [HP%].
  • Attack percentages [ATK%].
  • Protection percentages [DEF%].
  • Critical chance [Crit Rate %].
  • Critical damage [Crit DMG %].
  • Percentage bonus of basic attack [Basic Attack DMG Bonus %].
  • Heavy Attack Percentage Bonus [Heavy Attack DMG Bonus %].
  • Resonance Skill Damage [Resonance Skill DMG Bonus %].
  • Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus %.

Cost 1, 3, 4

Depending on the difficulty of the fallen monster Echo cost [Cost] varies:

  • 1 - drops from a regular enemy;
  • 3 - obtained from an elite mob;
  • 4 - contained in the boss.

This value is related to the general cost limit [COST Limit]. All artifacts equipped on the hero are summed up and added up to a number that must be equal to the limit or less than it. For example, with a limit of 12, you cannot equip four Echoes with Cost 4 on a resonator, since this will go beyond the limits (4*4=16).

Cost limit in the terminal A character cannot simultaneously carry more than 5 Echoes of any rarity. The cost limit for artifacts increases with the level of the terminal. Also, the higher the “weight” of Echo, the fewer available drop options for items, which makes it easier to select the right item.

Rarity

Total Echoes are divided into four rarities, different in value.

Rarity Color Number of substats  Max. level
2☆ Unusual [Uncommon] green 0 10
3☆ Rare [Rare] blue 3 15
4☆ Epic [Epic] violet 4 20
5☆ Legendary [Legendary] yellow 5 25

In Wuthering Waves 5☆, artifacts start falling from enemies only from level 15 of the terminal [Data Banks], available at least at level 30 [Union Level]. In the same interface you will notice the indicator Improved absorption probability [Enchanced Absorption Probability] - if you received an artifact from an enemy, then this is the chance that Echo will be the maximum available rarity.

What do the Echo parameters mean in the terminal? The terminal is pumped up by gaining experience from the first drop of a variety of each Echo for destroying monsters. If a 5☆ artifact is dropped, then all lower rarities and experience for them will automatically be counted in the list of received ones. It is most profitable to defeat enemies burning in red [Red Mist], which do not respawn, since killing them guarantees you will earn 5☆.

How to get Echo in Vuv

Echo's main source of loot is battles with monsters, defeating which will drop an artifact with some probability. Extra Echoes can be converted in the terminal, so there is a chance to create the desired item from unusable ones.

There are other methods of where to find Echo. Artifacts in Wuthering Waves are awarded for completing various content, challenges, or purchased in stores.

Farming mobs in the open world

With some chance, Echoes can drop from any type of enemy in VUV, be it a regular or epic monster. If the artifact is obtained from a similar type of enemy, which is common all over the world, then the easiest way is to follow the route until you destroy all the mobs and wait for their rebirth time after 24 hours of real time.

Chance of dropping any Echo in the terminal The more different monsters were destroyed and different types of artifacts were taken from them, the higher Echo drop chance [Echo Drop Rate], which you can check in the terminal. The probability of this ranges from 6 to 20% depending on the progress of its completion.

age of bosses

As the world opens, you will come across enemies belonging to the “Overlord” class [Overlord Class], which are the bosses in Woosering Waves. They are marked on the map with special icons with their images, even in places where they have not been reached before. Each boss has increased resistance to some element, so select your team in advance.

Upon arrival in an area with a formidable enemy, an inscription will appear at the top of the screen warning you about entering the boss arena. Fight him so that after his death he will most likely leave his Echo, which you will take without any expenses, like from a regular monster. Most likely, giving out an artifact as a boss has an increased chance, but there is still a possibility that you will not receive it, so appearance of Echo not guaranteed.

Bosses tend to resurrect after 2 minutes, which you can wait standing at the same point and even while waiting in the menu. Therefore, be careful when exiting the pause, as at that very second you can get into a fight. In WuV, all bosses live in the same place, and you don’t need to spend Wave Plates to collect Echoes [Waveplate], so you can farm artifacts in this way indefinitely.

Recraft in the terminal

В terminal [Data Bank] the ability to recraft Echo is available. Select 5 unnecessary artifacts to destroy, after which they will be converted into random Echoes. The higher the level of the terminal, the greater the likelihood of receiving a rarer artifact and a greater number of them.

The synthesis system opens upon reaching level 8 of the terminal, which requires not only a collection of enemies, but also the transition of Sol3Phase to Rank 3. This will happen at level 20 of the Union [Union Level], when you complete the corresponding task to increase the difficulty of the world.

It is recommended to recraft Echo in Woovering Waves no earlier than terminal level 15 (which requires at least Union level 30). This is justified by the fact that only at this stage the opportunity to knock out 5☆ artifacts from enemies opens up.

Tacet Field

As soon as you reach Union level 20, points with additional activities of the Taset Field in Wuvering Waves will appear on the map. In these tests, resonators receive bonuses from certain elements, and enemies have their damage reduced by a specific type of element. For the first clearing of such an area, several Echoes with random parameters will be issued.

How to upgrade Echo

Upgrading Echoes In WW, the Echo level is pumped up with special materials, Sealed tubes [Sealed Tube], or by investing other artifacts. In the latter method, only 75% of the experience will be transferred to Echo.

How to configure Echo in the Echo interface in WuVa

Event "Echo Hunters" You can get acquainted with the mechanics of how to set up Echo in the Echo interface in the side quest "Silver-haired Echo Trainer – III", which serves as part of the event "Echo Hunters".

How to add secondary stats for Echoes When you level up the Echo, the text will change to green and change to "To Be Tuned". Click on any of the lines to proceed to adding a substat.

How to use tuners

Enter the desired quantity Tuners [Tuners] (from 1 to 4), when investing for 1000 credits [Shell Credit] open random minor stats. The higher the rarity of the Echo, the higher quality the Tuner is needed, which you can determine by the color.

Once you exit the hero viewing section, “Jingzhu” will say a few lines. With their completion, the quest goal will change to “Visit Linghan's place”, after which you can continue completing the quest “Silver-haired Echo Trainer – III”.
