The multiplayer game World of Tanks has launched a temporary event called To Mars: Chaos, timed to coincide with the celebration of the All-Russian Cosmonautics Day. During the period 8 to 22 April In 2025, tank crews are sent to the red planet to test hypotheses about the composition of the object's core. For the duration of the expedition, unique Mars rovers "Sputnik" and "Meteor" are issued for use, and the main goal is to participate in dynamic battles near the core.
The battle race area contains several types of interactive points that earn points or allow you to effectively deal with opponents: scanning zones, acid lakes, flying geysers and ramps. Meanwhile, powerful power-ups appear in random places on the surface that can help turn the tide of battle. For example, the force field around the rover can be used to push opponents off the map.
By participating in the event and completing battle missions, you can count on a number of prizes:
- crew with a "zero" skill "Brotherhood in Arms" and experience to learn a skill of their choice;
- "Martian Rock" and "Rare Ore" containers, in which, along with resources, you can find equipment with a small chance;
- experimental equipment and components for ground vehicles;
- bonds, elements of appearance, personal reserves and days.
By opening unique boxes during the event, you have a chance to get the coveted loot: Tier IX tanks.
E 77 "Nakhodka-4" — a universal heavy tank that combines reliable protection, an easy-to-use gun, and decent mobility. It is perfect for aggressive offensives and confident positional play.
Chief. Proto "Ore Baron" — a British heavy tank with strong frontal armor, high firing accuracy, and comfortable gun depression angles. All this makes it a dangerous opponent in both close and long-range combat.
The visit to the red planet will end on April 22, but the accumulated “Mars containers” can be opened until May 4, 2025.
