How to Start the Turtle's Tear Quest in Black Myth: Wukong

Walkthrough of the Turtle's Tear quest in Black Myth: Wukong
As part of the quest, you will need to explore the northern shore, defeat a side boss, and find the turtle's treasure, which will become an extremely useful piece of equipment.
Find and defeat the Apramana Bat
Facing the altar "Bitter Lake (northern shore)", turn right and run along the water. You can skip all the enemies along the way, they do not pose a threat and move extremely slowly. Soon you will find a ridge lying on the shore, go around it on the left and head further.
Go past the bones and move towards the "bone arch", ing under which you will get to the arena. The largest spine lying in the distance can serve as a landmark. As soon as you enter the open area, a cut-scene will begin.
To inspect the key point in this location, you must first defeat the boss - Apraman bat.
The main feature of this boss is that it constantly flies up. From time to time it rises up to change position, in which case it is worth just waiting for the mouse to land. Sometimes the boss flies up and falls, repeating this attack several times in a row. There are two options here: either wait it out, or use Immobilize while the creature is on the ground to deal damage.
The enemy is quite difficult to stun, so seize the moments while he is on the ground, attack and use spells. Use immobilization, summon clones and perform combinations of fast attacks. You can finish the series of blows with the spirit "Wandering Wight".
Attacking with a powerful blow is not worth it, the flying bat will most likely change position or simply strike back before taking damage itself.
In addition to the standard attacks and attempts to fly away, the boss has a number of other unpleasant features:
- Taking off, the apraman bat can release streams of wind that cut through the Chosen One.
- Lunge - the creature bends forward, attacking its opponent with its wing.
- Freezing — During the battle, the boss applies a freeze status: the faster the weakening accumulates, the slower the Chosen One moves. Eventually, the character will simply freeze, in which case you will have to press dodge until the effect wears off.
A detailed walkthrough can be read in the relevant section guide to all bosses of the game.
Examine the skeleton
After defeating the boss, stand facing the exit from the arena. On the right you will see a huge skeleton with a point of interest on it. Examine the remains of the snaketo trigger a cutscene.
After interacting with the skeleton, you will notice that the giant turtle carrying the island has started crying. Its tear fell near the battle site with the apraman bat.
Find the Turtle Tear
Go through the "arch" to leave the arena. Continue along the shore, ing other remains of creatures.
Run along the water, keeping to the left side. You won't be able to go deeper because of the invisible walls, so just move on, going around the rocks. You need to get to the place located under the turtle's head. It is located a little further than the altar from which you went to the boss: in the distance you will be able to notice a turquoise glow.
Collect the item dropped by the turtle, this will complete the task.
Achievement "Scale and Shell"
Collecting the turtle tear will give you the achievement "Scale and shell", the condition of which is: "Death is as sad as living alone."
Awards
For defeating the boss you will receive the following reward:
- 1 205 Will.
- 2 materials "Cold iron sheet".
