The "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" quest in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty begins after V reaches the construction site near the coastal slums. Here a conversation with Hands begins and the goal is announced - to obtain a prototype implant along with the drawings.
Enter the Scavenger hideout in the skyscraper
Get to the blue marker. There are two ways to do this: climb the stairs and quietly break through enemy barriers, or take the lower road and break through with force. There are cameras at the top, most enemies move alone.
Several enemies await inside the building. Deal with them and go into the elevator on the left, which will take you to the Headquarters point. Upon arrival, the prototype signal will emit. It is located above the current location.
Find a prototype by signal
First, go down the stairs to the right of the elevator.
Go to the end of the floor and go up the stairs. The location is built in the form of a compact arena. When discovered, V will be attacked by many scavengers. Continue along the path on the minimap, past the abandoned operating room, go forward and go down the stairs. At this stage, Hassan appears for the first time.
He waits in the cell below. All that remains is to start a dialogue, and the goal “Talk to the prisoner” will be completed. The selected lines do not matter and will not affect the course of the quest. The problem becomes clear - Hasan is the only surviving Zetatekh engineer. He inserted the prototype into his eye and activated the signal source. We need to find a way to get him out.
Find out the code from Hasan's camera
Go back up the stairs. There will be a security computer ahead - start interacting. Open "Files"-"Codes and s" In the document you will find the code for the camera: 2753. Return to Hassan and open the grate.
Follow Hassan
Follow the engineer. He will lead you to the workshop and start digging through the trash for a few seconds. Approach and press the interact button to complete the Take the Blueprint Tablet step.” Next there will be a dialogue with Hassan, where he will convince V of his rescue plan from the skyscraper.
Lower the drawbridge and get out of the skyscraper
Exit through the opening behind Hassan and activate the terminal on the left. This will lower the bridge.
Talk to Hassan
After the drawbridge is disabled, Hassan will refuse to part with the prototype. V faces a choice:
- I must deliver the prototype.
- Okay, just be careful.
When you select the first option, two more options appear:
- Don't worry, I'm calling the fixer.
- If anything, we don't know each other.
In the second case, release Hassan, go downstairs and leave the drawings in the parcel terminal. The quest is completed, there will be no consequences. A call to the fixer at this fork will lead to the next choice:
- Yeah, I'm sending the coordinates.
- Take the implant, just let Hassan go.
In the first option, Hassan may die. The second is considered the most correct and will subsequently provide new opportunities. Hands will send the engineer to the reaper and pick up the implant.
If you select the option “Okay, just be careful.", a task identical to the goal above will appear. Go down and leave the drawings in the parcel terminal. The parcel terminal is located below, under the skyscraper. Go down the stairs towards the mark, and the street itself will lead to it.
