Finding creative perspectives in update 4.1. How to start an event
To participate in the Search for Creative Prospects event, you must meet the following conditions:
- to reach 20 adventure ranks;
- complete the Archons quest "Dragon Freedom Song";
- complete the introductory quest;
- It is also recommended to complete the story quest "The Approach of a New Star".
The event will take place from 12 until October 30, 2023, and will open at 10:00 MSK (server Europe).
Quest Search for creative prospects
As part of the quest event of the same name, talk to the person in charge of the test, Bartolo, and find out the details and rules of the stage to open access to the levels. After completing the dialogue with the NPC, you will receive a small reward of 10 experience books adventurer.
Guide to Finding Creative Prospects in Genshin Impact
The goal of the Search for Creative Perspectives stage is to search for the places indicated in the proposed paintings in the open world and restore the depicted landscapes. Find the scroll icon on the map and go to it to begin the process of searching for fragments. Once in place, run the test and choose among the three pictures the one that best suits the environment.
In viewfinder mode, begin searching for buildings or landscape features shown in the picture. Compare the picture and the real area so that the lines match. To make it easier to , at a certain point in the test, a flickering yellow indicator will appear, indicating the place relative to which it is necessary to align the picture.
Once you've found the spot you want, capture the landscape by selecting the appropriate viewfinder function. Some of the image elements will be restored, and an icon above the viewfinder will light up, indicating the number of detected fragments.
The painting is not a complete photograph. To search for its other elements, you will need to turn the viewfinder again and find the indicator of another special point in the landscape. Find the right angle again and capture it to restore the landscape completely.
Scenic Wind
In the first stage of the event, you will have to take three photos in different areas of Mondstadt - at the Dawn distillery, in the main square of the city and in the Lair of Storm Terror. Let's look at each point in more detail.
City of poetry and wine
Travel to the teleport near the main square of Mondstadt and go forward. The test is located on the roof of the Ordo Favonius building.
The picture that needs to be assembled is in the middle.
Align the image so that it covers the arms, face, and right wing of the Anemo Archon statue. If everything is done correctly, a yellow indicator will appear. Save the picture.
Next, move the camera to the left, towards the cathedral. The painting should completely cover the left tower of the building and complement the lower part of the building. Once you set the image, an indicator will appear.
Relaxation at the distillery
Teleport to the Archon statue near the Dawn Distillery and move west from it towards the cliff. The test is located at the very edge of the cliff.
Select the picture that needs to be completed with the missing elements. In this case, it's the first image on the left.
Start setting up your viewfinder. Raise the camera and point it at the Stone Gate. The easiest way to navigate is the sharp edges of the mountains.
The second part of the image is related to the distillery itself. Move the camera to the left so that the viewfinder image covers the left side of the building.
Match the roof elements until the yellow indicator appears.
Giant Dragon Residence
The third challenge is in Stormterror Lair. Travel to the teleporter in the north of the area. The desired point is located on top of the ruins nearby.
Select the rightmost image to begin solving the puzzle.
Part of the picture initially lacks a dome - position the camera so that the tower is adjacent to this element of the ruins.
Next, move the viewfinder to the left, towards the rock from the round flat top standing in the middle of the lake.
The third point, on the contrary, is located on the right - align the image so that the elements in the picture coincide with the columns of the ruins.

Symbolism of mountains and waters
In the second stage, testing takes place in Li Yue. Visit Luhua Lake as well as Tianqiu Valley to complete the whole picture.
Who guards Luhua?
Teleport to the travel point in the west of Lake Luhua and cross the water terraces to approach the ruins with the statues. The test is located near a tree.
The picture for which you need to find the missing elements is on the right.
First, move the image to the left, focusing on one of the statues.
Next, point the viewfinder at the feet of the second statue.
The last part of the painting is in the entrance area of the ruins.
Follow the stone arch to complete the image.
Where the Treasure Dwells?
Travel to the Archon Statue located near Lake Luhua. From there, move west. Having reached the building, jump off the cliff to the place where another building is located. Go around it. The test is on the cliff behind the building.
Select the left image to start adding elements.
Start from the center of the picture. Point the camera at the round ruins in the middle of the lake and capture an element of the landscape.
After this, turn the camera to the right towards the cliff with the ruins on top.
The remainder of the painting depicts water terraces. Focus on two trees with yellow leaves. Move the viewfinder to the left until a yellow indicator appears.
Creative searches in Tianqiu
The next point is in the Tianqiu Valley. Travel to the teleporter in the south of the area and move north from there.
The last picture to be completed is in the center.
Raise the image and point it at the ruins so that the tower on the right is almost entirely covered by the image. If everything is done correctly, an indicator will appear.
Move the camera left towards the small ruins and line up the painting with the stairs.
The last element of the image is on the right side - rotate the camera until you see a small stone building. Place the painting on it to make a marker appear.
Precious naivety
The third stage, like the previous one, takes place in Li Yue. It requires taking photographs at the Stone Gate, Lingjiu and Guili Valley.
Bridge!
Travel to the teleport in the Stone Gate and move north from it. The test point is located on the edge of the cliff.
To start the challenge, select the left picture.
First, point the camera at the wooden tower located by the mountain on the right and then capture the element.
Next, rotate the viewfinder so that the waterfall is in the center of the image. If everything is done correctly, an indicator will appear.
The last element is a curved tree growing near the cliff on the left.

Big lake!
The second point is located on the shore of Lingjiu . Teleport to this area and cross the river.
The image you need to search for elements is on the right.
Point the viewfinder at the large tree with yellow leaves in the center of the location. For the indicator to appear, the image must almost completely cover its barrel.
Turn the camera to the right and superimpose the picture on the stairs leading into the ruins near the cliff.
After that, turn left and capture the second steps visible in the north of Lingjiu .
Alcove!
The final challenge is located in Guili Valley. You can get there either from the teleport or from the nearest dungeon. Move towards the ruins, the photo point is on the dilapidated wall.
Select the remaining painting in the center.
Raise the camera so that it captures the top of Dragonspine. Focus on the beam from the Archon statue in this area.
Next, point the viewfinder at the stone gazebo on the right, covering its roof with the image.
The remaining element of the painting is the Wangshu Inn. It can be seen by the yellow foliage of a tree in the distance.
Truth in painting
The fourth stage of the event takes place in Mondstadt and Li Yue at the same time. For photos, you should visit the following places: Bright Crown Canyon, Li Yue Harbor and Thousand Winds Temple.
Contemplation from afar
Travel to the teleporter in the Bright Crown Canyon area. The test marker is located a little to the south, near the cliff.
Select the right image to begin the challenge.
First, point your viewfinder at the Cathedral of Barbatos and align the picture to its right edge.
Next, turn the camera left towards Starcatcher Crag, visible in the distance. You can navigate by the beam from the Archon statue in that area to make it easier.
The last element of the picture is the Dragon Ridge. Overlay the image on the mountain peak to make the indicator appear.
City of ships and merchants
The second point is located in Li Yue Harbor. Teleport to the travel point located north of the city.
After that, click on the picture in the middle.
It's easier to cover the center of the image first - position the camera so that it covers the piers and the right tower, as well as the city wall.
Turn the picture to the right, towards the gate to the city. The indicator will appear when the image matches the left side of them.
After that, point the viewfinder at the ship at sea.
Landscape of Mondstadt
The final challenge is located south of the Temple of a Thousand Winds in Mondstadt. The easiest way to get to the point is from the Wolf Temple dungeon.
Afterwards, climb up the rock and up to the bridge ruins at the top.
The remaining painting to complement is on the left.
Turn the camera to the right, where the stone arch ruins are located, and wait for the indicator to appear.
Next, turn the viewfinder in the opposite direction, where the sundial that was needed in the quest is located Time and wind.
The last element is a large tree in the Valley of the Wind.
