Did you miss the new robberies? Ahead is Rockstar Games' next update to its flagship project, with a teaser hinting that the expansion could add a whole new area to explore.
Over the years, Grand Theft Auto Online has received a lot of additional content. Everything from new major heists to flying cars modeled after the legendary DeLorean time travel vehicle from Back to the Future has appeared in the game. Nevertheless, Rockstar has been promoting their next free DLC for quite some time now., claiming it will likely be the biggest addition to the game.
By posting a teaser on their official Twitter today, Rockstar Games has lifted the veil a little on this mysterious update, hinting that it will bring players a whole new area of Los Santos. If the assumptions associated with this "drain" are confirmed, this will be the first time Rockstar has expanded a Grand Theft Auto 5 map.
The teaser itself is short, lasting 10 seconds, but this does not mean that there is not enough information to decipher. A fast-moving series of CCTV footage from the trailer showcases the new island with a separate map. The location has a luxurious villa and some large fields that are definitely not like anything that was before in the already existing game world of Los Santos. The teaser ends with a show of a man lying on a Los Santos beach with a briefcase on the sand next to him. A pop-up sign shows the name of this person - "John Doe". There is also a postscript that he was last seen at the Los Santos airport and he is well known as "El Rubio».

The entire clip consists of many mysterious images, over which you can speculate. According to the general opinion of fans from Twitter, the island is likely to be a new robbery, and the map shown in the frame is ideal for a new dynamic t mission. Other gamers are wondering if the area will be more open, offering players a series of quests, or if it's just a place for a single quest.
However, it looks like Rockstar is close to giving their fans an official answer. The last major update was released back in August. Yachts, arcade machines, new clothes, fresh cars and additional missions appeared in GTA Online in the summer. It seems, GTA 5 multiplayer never stops evolving even with the release of next generation games, and very soon this project will even appear on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
