Briefly about the events of the previous season

Mie Saimori is the eldest daughter of a noble family renowned for her special abilities. Unfortunately, the girl was born into a political marriage without love, and did not inherit the gift. After the death of her mother and the remarriage of her father, the heroine found herself in the position of a servant, suffering humiliation first from her stepmother, and then from her gifted half-sister Kaya.

Kanoko, Shinichi Saimori's new wife, was in a relationship with him even before her beloved's political marriage with Sumi Usuba and immediately disliked her stepdaughter, since she was the child of a homewrecker. Years of abuse made Mie a downtrodden creature and destroyed her self-esteem. The girl's childhood friend, Koji from the gifted Tatsuishi family, sincerely sympathized with her and was even in love, but due to his character he was unable to protect her. To top it off, the maid Hana, who empathized with Mia, was kicked out of the Saimori house, and the girl was left without protection.

Mie hoped to marry Koji, but according to Shinichi's decision, Kaya was to become the young man's wife. Mie was going to be married off to Kiyoka Kudo, who, according to rumors, was a very cruel person. Having no other choice, the girl leaves her father's house and goes to her groom.

Contrary to rumors, Kiyoka turns out to be a kind-hearted person. Gradually he and Mie fall in love with each other. Kudo also learns about the girl’s difficult past, and his maid Yurie sympathizes with her almost from day one. Mie did not look like a spoiled rich girl and showed respect for Yurie, helping, moreover, with household chores, unlike previous bride candidates.

In the end, Kudo pays a visit to Saimori's house, where he announces his intention to get engaged to Mie, as well as that he knows about the attitude of the girl from the family, and makes a clear choice: either Shinichi and Kanoko will sincerely ask for forgiveness from their daughter, or all ties will be severed. Among other things, he also arranges a meeting between Hana and Mie. At that time, the girl was depressed, believing that she was not worthy of being Kudo’s wife and considering herself worthless.

The head of the family, Tatsuishi Minoru, is not happy with this situation, because the blood of Usuba flows in Mie’s veins, and this is valuable. Taking advantage of Kaya and Kanoko's discontent, he arranges for Mie to be kidnapped. In the old barn, the stepsister and stepmother are trying to get the unfortunate girl to refuse her engagement to Kiyoka, but she steadfastly endures all the torture, disobeying for the first time. Kudo and Koji save the girl, but the ordeal does not end there.

The Usuba family is very secretive, and their ancestral ability is incredibly powerful and dangerous. Because of Mie's relationship with this family, political intrigue begins, in which the emperor himself participates. It turns out that the girl actually has a very powerful ability that was sealed away by her mother.
