Kanata Katagiri returns to Japan after the death of his mother to find his father, who disappeared twenty years ago. The young man settles in the house of the Saionji family, old friends of his parents. Ren, the daughter of the Saionji couple, falls in love with him at first sight, and he, in turn, later begins to have feelings for her as well.
As a racer, Kanata decides to participate in MFG and chooses a Toyota 86 GT as his vehicle. Ren, who competes in the races as an MFG Angel, was surprised by this decision, but Katagiri still managed to the qualifying competition and become a full-fledged racer.
During the races, the protagonist meets a variety of competitors, each with their own reasons for being a racer and their own past. On the track, the protagonist demonstrates his own driving skills and his value as a participant, and at the same time, he is immersed in the complex relationships between other racers.
The finale of the second season takes a very dramatic turn. Ren is almost hit by a train, but is saved by Kanata. Because of this, the guy injures his left elbow and cannot change gears, and also experiences severe pain. Despite this circumstance, the main character still takes part in the racing competition, and what's more, he is aimed at winning and does not intend to give up.
What will happen in MF Ghost Season 3
The continuation of MF Ghost, if we follow the events of the original source, starts with the eleventh volume, the first chapter of which is dedicated to the character Wataru Akiyama, already familiar to the public from Initial D Second Stage and its sequels. Also, the romantic line between the protagonist and Saionji will be further developed and will gain momentum and tension.
