After the “sudden” death of Kurt Hansen, the situation in the territory of Dog City worsens, which cannot but please Mr. Hands. The Fixer offers to meet and discuss the details of a future deal at the Heavy Heart club. Go to the address.
Meet Mr. Hands
Get to the bar located in the central part of the city, near the IBM Petrochem stadium (fast travel point available).
Go to the elevator and go up to Mr. Hands' office, 03rd floor. This time entering the code, as they did during the mission "A hand washes a hand", will not be required.
Fixer wants to push Hansen's henchmen to choose a new commander in the person of Lieutenant Colonel Bennett, a respected man from Kurt's inner circle who knows how to lead people.
The problem is that another candidate is also vying for the place of the deceased colonel - Iago Szabo. V's goal is to, under the influence of Aguilar's behavioral imprint, visit the chief ant of Barghest and push him give up rapid career growth.
Take the print and weapon of the hitman from Havana. Then use Aguilar's suit to completely transform yourself for the operation.

Defuse the Voodooists and wait for Iago
Move in a southwest direction, towards the wastelands of Dog City. Soon you will reach an abandoned building located in the middle of nowhere, where a meeting between Iago and the “voodooists” will take place.
Enter the grounds through the main entrance. Approach the small building and go up to the second floor. At the bedside, use the “Activate imprint and wait” action.
Find a way to get rid of the "voodooists"
Towards evening, “voodooists” will approach the abandoned complex. The most optimal and fastest way to eliminate them is a direct collision. However, if desired, opponents can be killed in the “Stealth” mode, resorting to silent kills from behind.
Wait for Iago and talk to him
Once the area is clear, go to the stone and use the Lean action. Soon the chief ant of Barghest will arrive at the meeting place.
Then proceed according to the following principle:
- Greet Iago by saying: "I have a message for you".
- When asked about the future fate of the man, answer: "You will return to your place".
- Shoot Charlie within the allotted time. Otherwise, V will die.

If you decide to ignore the additional action, call the fixer. During the conversation, you can tell the man that Bennett works for Arasaka. He will thank V for the warning, and will also say that in the near future he will personally check the accuracy of what he heard.
Meet Bennett before Hansen's funeral ceremony
The additional goal, in turn, will allow learn about Bennett's connection with Arasaka in person, without the involvement of third-party intermediaries. Call any of the available transport and visit the business district of the city center. Eventually, the quest marker will lead to a parking garage.
Having entered the location, activate Aguilar's imprint and wait for Chester to arrive.
Soon a car will drive up to the garages: Johnny will assume that the driver is one of Bennett's henchmen, and then offer to get rid of him in order to gain an advantage during the conversation with Lieutenant Colonel "Barghest".
Defuse the driver either from a distance or during a direct collision. Then, hide the man's body (for example, in the trunk) and take the driver’s seat - this way you can take the future head of the Dog City by surprise.
After some time, Bennett will come out of the building. The appearance of Aguilar will actually amaze the man - despite his own size, he is clearly afraid of one of the most famous mercenaries, and for good reason.
The lieutenant colonel its that his only connection with Arasaka is deal: the corporation promises to the man, and he, in turn, provides permission to use the processing channels of Dog City. Selecting a replica “What if Iago doesn’t bother you?”, convince Chester that the Barghest ant will not pretend to be the head of the organization. Enter the Black Sapphire and the farewell ceremony
Follow Iago's example and leave the wasteland area. Get to Golden Pacific Boulevard (fast travel point available), and from there, go towards the main entrance to Black Sapphire.
Hide behind the construction beams and, having activated Aguilar's imprint, wait for the arrival of the main persons participating in the farewell ceremony.
Enter the Black Sapphire: the Barghest soldiers won't ask too many questions.
Walk down the main hall. Then follow the path until you reach the elevator. Use it to go up to the Club and Casino area, which is on the 99th floor.
Go towards the club where the farewell ceremony will take place.
Who to choose as the new head of Dog City: Iago or Bennett
On the lower level of the club, you will meet Iago, who will agree to accompany the fake Aguilar to Bennett. After greeting the lieutenant colonel, show sympathy to the Barghest representatives by choosing the line: "Havana Condolences". After that, V will begin to implement the main plan - the election of a new head of the Dog City.
The ceremony can end in three different outcomes:
- Bennett will become the head of the Dog City, Bennett and Iago will disperse peacefully.
- Bennett will become the head of the Dog City, Iago will be killed.
- Iago will become the head of the Dog City.
Peaceful Conflict Resolution, Bennett - New Chapter
A tangible conflict is growing between the candidates: Iago is unpleasant to Bennett as a person, Bennett, in turn, is not ready to tolerate among those close to him a person who is capable of betraying him at any moment. In order to smooth out relationships between men, it is necessary:
- When Bennett points out Iago's infidelity, respond: “That's a fair price, Iago. You will pay it" => "Show respect for the deceased" or "(Show weapon) Do you want a massacre to begin in Dog City?"
- As soon as Bennett and Iago “cool down” under the pressure of the fake mercenary, say: “(Move away) We will be watching you.”
The Assassination of Iago, Bennett - new chapter

The third outcome, where Iago becomes the leader of the Dog City, depends only on the actions of the player: during direct discussions, the chief ant of the Barghest will not interfere with decisions from above, despite the fact that he had previously planned to nominate himself for the post of the murdered Kurt Hansen. If you want Iago to take the vacant position, select a line during the dialogue "No. You won't get anything, Bennett." and continue to develop the conflict.
The “disadvantage” of this option is Mr. Hands’ dissatisfaction. The Pacifica Fixer has personal goals in this controversial case. It is important for the man that it is Bennett who controls the Barghest; the lieutenant colonel’s possible involvement in Arasaki does not bother him.
Once one of the above options has been achieved, leave the farewell ceremony, deactivate Aguilar's imprint and Hands. The task is completed when the fixer hangs up.
