How to get interlocking and sophisticated dynamic gears in Genshin Impact
There are three types of resources that can be dropped from Meks and Special Meks - Clutch Gears, Mechanism Gears, and Sophisticated Dynamic Gears. Their number and rarity directly depend on the rank and level of opponents:
- Clutch gear (⭐) - from opponents of any level.
- mechanism gear (⭐ ⭐) - from level 40+ Meks.
- Sophisticated dynamic gear (⭐⭐⭐) – Level 60+ Meks.
In addition to rare resources, Meks and Special Meks drop mora and artifacts. We will add the exact options for the kits 16 of August.
Buying at the Paimon Store
In addition to obtaining materials from defeated enemies, gears can be purchased from stardust and starlight. Only a strictly limited number of items are available for purchase per month. The assortment of the store is updated at the beginning of each month:
- Clutch gear - costs 5 stardust, can be bought 15 times for 3 pieces (45 units in total).
- mechanism gear - costs 5 stardust, you can buy 35 pieces.
- Sophisticated dynamic gear - costs 2 Star Glitter, can be bought 25 times for 3 pieces (75 units in total).
Recraft in Alchemy
Like other resources, gears are crafted using Alchemy. Three lower tier gears can be crafted into one higher tier. Creation cost:
- mechanism gear – 3 interlocking gears + 25 pestilence.
- Sophisticated dynamic gear – 3 mechanism gears + 50 pestilence.
For ease of creation, also use characters that add extra resources or return materials:
- Sucrose – gives a 10% chance to create an additional gear.
- Dory - with a 25% probability will return the spent material back.
What are gears for?
Gears from Meks and Special Meks are required to upgrade the following characters and weapons:
