And without Gale, is it possible to not interact with him at all? When trying to use the circle without Gale in the Squad, during the battle for the lunar towers, the teammates simply comment, but no dialogue options appear. I would like to destroy it, but how...

Well, yes, if it were possible to return to the camp and take Gale, I would take it, but not yet. And then you probably won’t get here anymore.

Apparently this all had to be done before the liberation/death of the Song of Night, I guess. Perhaps it will be useful to someone.

Not necessarily, after the battle with Ketheric, there will be an opportunity to go on a Long Rest, from there you can return to the tower to Balthazar through the portals

So. I went on without Will, they beat off Ketherick's kidneys, he cried, called the elder and then ran away, the opportunity arose to take a long rest, where I took Will, returned back to the ritual circle, but even Will did not want to interact with him, moon lanterns are made here blah blah yula and that's all.

I'm so stupid, I mixed up Gale and Will. I kicked Gale out a long time ago so that he wouldn’t explode. I apologize for my stupidity.
