Meet the echo of Kokoliya as part of the quest «Stars are frozen toys". In this episode, the Fragmentum Fake only has 1 health bar.

Boss attacks

Let's discuss the attacks that pose the greatest danger. Omen of Eternal Cold - Creates 2 Ice Blades that operate as autonomous enemies. They attack allies in an area. The left blade is vulnerable to fire and electricity, the right blade is vulnerable to fire and quantum.

Hoarfrost of eternal isolation - Fires an icy blast that has a high chance of freezing an ally.

The wrath of the saints of the realm of darkness — transition to the charge mode of the ult until its next step. The next step will apply Eternal Winter's Punishment by area. If you knock down stamina and break through vulnerability, then the super ability will not be applied.

Eternal Winter's Punishment - AoE ice strike with Freeze chance. This is Kokoliya's most powerful attack.

How to beat Cocolia in the Virtual Universe

Kokoliya is the main boss of the 6th world virtual universe. The recommended team level is 60 and above. It differs from its plot version in the following properties:

Has 3 combat phases and 3 HP bars.
From the 1st phase, summons Ice Blades.
In the 2nd phase, summons Armor and Ice Blades. Armor summoning does not count as a turn and is automatic from the start of the battle. From the 2nd phase, it also goes into ultimate mode.

Boss attacks

In each phase, new moves are added to the boss's toolkit. Let's analyze the most powerful of them.

The first phase

Omen of Eternal Cold - Creates Ice Blades, which are autonomous enemies that strike in an area. In the 1st phase, it will summon only 1 blade, from the 2nd phase it will create 2 blades at once.

Hoarfrost of eternal isolation - Shoots at 1 ally, inflicting Freeze with a high chance. Frozen heroes cannot use superpowers.

The second phase

The wrath of the saints of the realm of darkness - switch to superpower charge mode Eternal Winter's Punishment until the next move. If you knock down stamina during the accumulation, then the preparation for the superpower will be interrupted. If you find it impossible to remove all tenacity until Kokoliya's next turn, put shields on allies.

Eternal Winter's Punishment - A devastating attack against all allies with a high chance of Freezing. It is Kokoliya's ultimate move.

Combat redeployment - the ability of the summoned Armor to strengthen Kokoliya and remove her debuffs. Makes the already high damage of Kokoliya even more. It is a source of problems, especially when choosing the Path of Nothingness, removing accumulated debuffs. Try to focus damage on the Armor for this very reason.

The third phase

Doomsday Ice Cascade - An attack against all allies, consisting of several ice strikes with a high chance to Freeze.

If the Pathfinder casts enough shields, then put 3rd position characters here that can cause Shock and Burn. Hook or Himeko inflicts Burning. With additional footprints open, Hook gains buffs for attacking a Burning Opponent. Serval inflicts Shock, to which Kokoliya has no resistance. Natasha is not distracted from the treatment, she can additionally remove Armor's resistance. The key goal is to apply as many Burning and Shock as possible, the damage from which is multiplied by the Oblivion deck.
Pathfinder (Fiery) March 7	Dan Heng	Asta	Natasha	Strategy: F2P kit for Oblivion: fiery team. The first member of the team performs the function of a tank. Increase Asta's chance to trigger status effects by fully unlocking her additional Footprints.

Tactic

Use Kocolia's elemental vulnerabilities, as well as her lack of resistance to Burn and Shock, to multiply the damage over time due to Path of Nothingness. This strategy deals tens of thousands of damage even with an under-leveled team of level 55. When choosing Non-Existence, pump Traces to your party , especially for periodic and elemental damage:

Alternatively, choose the Path of Abundance to maximize the buff and preserve the health of team . Pick up a powerful DPS to deal damage and try to focus buffs on it as a position 2 character, but don't forget about defense: even Abundance won't save Zele from Kokoliya's consecutive series of attacks in the absence of shields.

Other important aspects of winning behavior:

In phase 1, try to kill Kocolia's Ice Blade as quickly as possible.
In phase 2, focus damage on Armor first. Her buffs significantly change the situation on the battlefield in favor of the enemy.
Upon entering each phase, Kokoliya resets all of the Non-Existence debuffs except for Suspicion. Do not use, unless there is a danger to life, an active Resonance Path of Nothingness ability close to the end of the HP bar, as all debuffs it places will be removed upon entering the next phase.

How to defeat Kokoliya, Mother of Deception in Echoes of War

The mother of deceit meets in the quest «Paths to the past have long been closed"and stays in mode Echoes of War. The recommended level of the battle with her is from the 38th. It has 2 phases and inflicts Imprison and Freeze debuffs on allies.

Boss attacks

The list of her techniques differs from those available in human form, but there are common points.

The first phase

Harbinger of Destruction - chooses 1 target to apply the ability to on the next turn Cleaving cold.

Cleaving cold - A powerful 1-target attack with a high chance to freeze.

Tactic

A few universal tips on how to defeat the Echo of Kokoliya, working on any difficulty:

Take it. Armor. Their skills will save allies from Imprisonment and Freeze, blocking the use of superpowers.
Focus on Kocolia's Spears of Infinite Cold immediately after she summons them. While the Spears are standing, Kokoliya will have vulnerabilities locked, which in practice means it is impossible to remove her fortitude bar and make a vulnerability break.
Use active ability «Anger of Creation Preservation”, available only in this battle. Titan Power deals serious AoE damage.
