Briefly about the events of previous seasons of the anime

After his father's death, Tanjiro Kamado became the main breadwinner in the family and, as the eldest son, took responsibility for his mother and younger siblings. Returning in the morning, he finds his entire family brutally murdered, and his sister Nezuko turned into a demon. Hunter Giyu Tomioka comes for the soul of the newly converted. Initially, he intended to kill Nezuko, but seeing that the brother and sister are ready to protect each other, and the girl herself clearly does not want to attack other people, he decides to help them and sends them to his mentor to teach Tanjiro the breathing technique. Thus, the protagonist becomes part of the organization of demon hunters, seeking to return Nezuko to human form and defeat Muzan Kibutsuji, the progenitor of the oni.

In this mission, the protagonist finds significant in the person of Tamayo, a demoness who managed to free herself from Muzan's control and overcome her thirst for blood. The woman is a doctor and volunteers to help Kamado with her knowledge of medicine. The young man must bring her the blood of the Twelve Moons, with which Tamayo intends to create a medicine that can turn the oni back into a human.

In the last two seasons of the title, a series of events occur that dramatically change the situation in the anime universe, the balance of power, and encourage a number of important people to take action. Nezuko manages to defeat the sun, which makes her the main target of Kibutsuji, who wants to absorb the girl in order to take over this power.
