How to start Seirai's Stormchasers quest 1
To start the quest, you must complete the Archons quest The unchanging god and the eternal utopia. After that, return to the capital of the region and go to the Adventurer's Guild. There is a recruitment of people ready to find out the reason for the eternal thunderstorms on the island of Seirai.
Walkthrough of Seirai Stormchasers 1 in Genshin Impact
There are two options for getting to Seirai Island:
- Teleport to the eastern part of Kannazuka. There is an anchorage here. Take the wave rover and swim to Seirai.
- Teleport everything to the same Kannazuku, but already to the dungeon Shakkei Pavilion. Go down to a small island. Here you can take Electrogranum and fly through the thunder spheres to an intermediate point between Kannazuka and Seirai. Enter the phase gate, which will take the hero to the desired island.
Upon arrival at Seirai, activate the Statue of the Seven Archons to see the entire map of the area.
Find Adventurers on Seirai Island
The quest marker will lead to the adventurer Eiko. She will talk about another member of the expedition, Taisuke, and the locking stone.
Examine the locking stone and talk to Taisuke
Go to the indicated point near the Statue of the Archons. A cutscene with dialogue will automatically start. Taisuke will tell you that the study of the locking stone does not bear fruit, but the adventurer found strange cat tracks. The traveler will go through them while the friends are left to solve the riddle of the mysterious structure.
Follow the cat tracks to scout the area
Move to the points indicated on the map along the path to the south. Feeling the elements use do not have to, all footprints will be visible on the ground. The traveler will reach the unknown Asase Shrine. After going to the center, talk to the black cat in a small house. She will promise to help in exchange for a small favor - repairing the offering box in the shrine.

Go to the village and find the materials you need to repair
Go northwest from the Statue of the Archon, to the place indicated by the temporary abbess. Here you have to fight treasure thieves. After the fight, a dialogue will begin with the last thief, who will tell about the plans of his gang and ask him not to kill. Since there are no necessary resources in the village, the quest will lead to the camp of treasure thieves.
Go to the treasure thieves' camp and look for materials for repairs
Head towards Hiraumi Fort. Treasure thieves won't give up the materials just like that - you'll have to defeat the bandits again. Once the fight is over, collect all the necessary materials to repair the crate. Three resources will be marked with bright lights.
Return to Asase Shrine and repair the offering box
After all the resources have been collected, return to temporary abbess Neko at the Asase Shrine. Repair the offering box and talk to the cat. She, as promised, will tell you how to seal the locking stone. Instructions for solving the puzzle will also be available.
Study it carefully and return to the adventurers.
Tap paper tapes
Return to the locking stone next to the Statue of the Archons. Tell Taisuke and Eiko about your conversation with Neko and start solving the puzzle. First touch all three sets of paper tapes on the pillars. You can activate them in any order.
Seal the locking stone
The locking stone itself has two sections with paper bands, each of which can be twisted independently of each other. Rotate the bottom two timesto match all elements. Once the order is correct, the corresponding ribbons will be highlighted. The solution to the puzzle is shown in the screenshots below.
