The order of leveling talents
Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill > Normal Attack
If Xinyan is a secondary damage dealer who acts as a burst and seeks to activate his ultimate as he cools down, then this is the ability that needs to be pumped up first. In this case, the elemental skill is not needed too much, but if you really want to, you can also pump it up. Xinyan doesn't use regular attacks in this build.
Elemental Skill > Elemental Burst > Normal Attacks
In this case, the priority of skills changes slightly. When playing through a , an elemental skill is of great benefit, which should be raised to the maximum level. Next, you can pump up an elemental explosion if there is a need for additional damage. As in the previous build, there is no need to increase normal attacks.

Best Xinyan Builds in Genshin Impact
Xinyan in battle specializes in increasing physical strength. damage to the active character using her shield, with which she temporarily protects the team. She is also capable of inflicting good damage with an elemental explosion during the cooldown, which allows Xinyan to occupy the role of a full-fledged secondary damage dealer. It is worth noting that using this character in this position is beneficial only with the presence of a second constellation, which allows the ult to criticize in any situation. In other situations, if Xinyan does not have a second constellation, it is better to choose a regular shield build.
Recommended characteristic values
Regardless of the build, Xinyan needs energy recovery, which will allow you to quickly restore your ult and activate it on cooldown. This is important, since the explosion of the element causes the main damage in the sub-damage build and a debuff in the presence of the fourth constellation.
If Xinyan occupies the position of a secondary damage dealer in a squad, in addition to restoring energy, she needs attack power ΠΈ Kritah. If there is a second constellation, critical. You donβt have to look for a chance in artifacts at all. You should look in the cup physical damage bonus.
In the role of a full-fledged , Xinyan can be fully dressed in artifacts for protection to maximize shield strength. This build also requires energy recovery to speed up the ult gain. Additionally, in the lower stats of artifacts, you can gain attack power for elemental explosion damage, but this is not necessary.

---|---|---|
2 parts: Increases physical damage by 25%. 2 parts: Increases physical damage by 25%. |

A universal set designed for playing through an explosion of elements. It does not provide additional stats, so you will have to get them from artifacts. |
Detachments
In a group, Xinyan can occupy one of two positions - shield or secondary damage dealer. Since she is a good character for heroes through physical. damage, then the main damage dealer should primarily play through this type of damage. However, there are a few exceptions here for Xinyang Shielder, who can team up with other main DDs, for example, for the sake of Pyro Resonance.
When playing as a sub-deader, Xinyan has a fairly thin shield that practically does not withstand blows. Because of this, the team needs strong heroes - shielders or healers. Also keep in mind that for a more comfortable game through physical. damage, it is necessary to cause a Superconductor reaction using Electro and Cryo characters.
Best characters
Let's tell you more about the heroes Xinyan can play with. For convenience, they are divided into roles.
Main-dd
The damage dealers who deal the most damage in the squad are:
Character | Element | Weapon | Description |
---|---|---|---|
The main damage dealer who attacks with physical damage. Possesses a Cryo element, so it can independently summon a Superconductor. She can often use E-shka, so she will not be hindered by Piro from Xinyan. | |||
Epic analogue of Eola, which simultaneously inflicts physical damage. and Cryo damage. Needs buffs and debuffs from Xinyan to increase damage. | |||
Cryo damage dealer who uses bow shots in battle that deal area damage from a distance. Pyro resonance is useful for Ganyu, as well as an additional shield. | |||
A physical damage dealer who is capable of attacking Electro with damage from his ult and helping in summoning the Superconductor. It applies a lot of Electro, so, as in the case of Eola, it will not be hindered by Pyro from Xinyan. | |||
Deals damage to Pyro using charged attacks. In battle, she constantly spends her health, which is why she needs a shield to play more accurately. | |||
A pyro archer who spends HP during battle and restores it on his own. He plays mainly in mono-squads, and also needs a shield member. | |||
A damage dealer who attacks with area bombs in close combat. Like Lini, he plays in mono-elemental teams. | |||
Capable of attacking Pyro with an element at any distance and requiring resonance to increase attack. On constellations it has its own shield, but extra protection will not hurt it | |||
Anemo attacks with damage from a distance and can also fly into the air above enemies. Absorbing a Pyro element increases the Wanderer's attack power. | |||
Anemo is a melee damage dealer that dispels elements with normal attacks. Needs a shield and element applicator. |
Sub-dd
Secondary damage dealers that deal additional damage primarily from the pocket:
Character | Element | Weapon | Description |
---|---|---|---|
A secondary Cryo damage dealer that deals damage in a limited area. With the presence of constellations, it reduces physical. resists enemies. | |||
A universal hero who can act as both a primary and secondary damage dealer. Capable of summoning Superconductor, enhancing elemental explosions and restoring energy to the squad. | |||

|||
Stable Electro sub-DD, which places a raven attacking in parallel with the main damage dealer. Together with Cryo, the character will summon Superconductor to increase physical damage to enemies. | |||
Another universal pocket Electro damage dealer that uses an ult to deal damage. Her skill can absorb and reflect enemy damage, which will help maintain the Xinyan Shield longer. | |||
Pyro is a sub-DD that deals huge damage with his ult. Can be played together with Xinyan to create Pyro Resonance. | |||
Hydro damage dealer, which attacks with an elemental explosion together with the main damage dealer and increases its damage. Good applicator for Steam. | |||
A more affordable analogue of Ye Lan. Using swords, reduces incoming damage. | |||
Pulls opponents to one point and absorbs elements. Can perform inflation of two elements at once. | |||
Like Kazuha, it pulls enemies together and inflates the elements. Can increase a unit's elemental mastery. |
Top Teams
Examples of units from the heroes presented above:
Character 1 | Character 2 | Character 3 | Character 4 | Features |

Squad through physical damage, where Rosaria and Cookie summon Superconductor. In the presence of Rosary constellations, together with Xinyan, they reduce the physical resistance of enemies and increase damage. Eola deals elemental explosion damage to all buffs. | ||||
The second option for the squad is through the Superconductor with Eola. In this case, Mika acts as the second buffer and healer. The Electro character deals damage while Eola is on cooldown and helps restore energy. | ||||
A more budget-friendly team through physical damage with Freminet as the main damage dealer. Beidou casts Electro with an elemental burst, and Yun Jin strengthens his normal attacks. Xinyan gives a shield and increased physical damage. | ||||
Group with Freminet, where he independently calls the Status Superconductor from Fischl. Bennett increases attack and gives Pyro resonance. Keep in mind that Bennett should not have C6. | ||||
Team with Razor through physical damage, where he himself is an Electro applicator. Among the Cryo characters you need to take one buffer and one healer. | ||||
If there is no physical damage dealer, Rosaria can play his role with from Fischl or Beidou, who deal damage and cause Superconductor. Bennett increases the attack and creates a Pyro resonance. | ||||

Group through Anemo damage with Faruzan as a character and Pyro resonance. Bennett increases attack power and heals the team. Xinyan s the squad and deals additional damage. | ||||
A squad with Xinyan as the main damage dealer. The Cryo character activates the cooldown ult to impose Cryo status. He is helped in this by Diona or Layla, who also provides shields and treatment. Electro character calls Superconductor. | ||||
F2P squad with Kaya through physical damage. Lisa attacks from the pocket and summons Superconductor. Xinyan buffs the damage dealer, and Noelle gives healing and shield to the team. |
How to play Xinyan
Despite the difference in builds, the gameplay of Xinyan is almost the same in both cases. Try to keep her skill-induced shield active at all times for the physical damage boost to take effect. Also take into the fact that the fourth Xinyan constellation, which reduces enemy resistance, only works if you have a third-level shield. To get it, you need to hit two or more enemies with a skill or activate an ult if you have C2.
Xinyan's elemental explosion attacks with physical damage first, followed by Pyro. For a greater contribution to damage as a sub-dead before the ultimate, use the skill so that the buff extends to Xinyan itself. Also pre-activate the Superconductor using the Cryo and Electro element abilities.
Rotation
E (Elemental Skill) > Q (Elemental Burst)
Follow these steps when playing as Xinyan:
- Summon Superconductor Cryo and Electro s.
- Use the Xinyan elemental skill to get a physical damage buff. If you have C4, this will also reduce the physical resistance of your opponents.
- Activate a Xinyan burst.
- Switch to the other s and sub-deaders and use their skills.
- Switch to the main damage dealer and deal damage.
- Repeat from the first point as you roll back.
Π‘onclusion
Xinyan is a very specific character who can perform well in various roles and under special conditions, but does not stand out in anything special that would make her better than other characters. Most often, the hero in the squad takes the role of , who puts up a shield, buffs physical damage and reduces the enemiesβ resistance to him. However, in some cases and in the presence of constellations, Xinyan is capable of acting as a secondary burst damage dealer, dealing a decent amount of damage as the elemental explosion cools down.
Nevertheless, this hero is quite demanding in order to, in addition to debuffs, deal good damage, and also needs constellations. Also, her element makes it somewhat difficult to select a squad due to the need for a Superconductor, which she cannot summon on her own. Regardless, if Xinyan is one of your favorite characters, she is definitely worth the time to give her a good build and have fun playing.
We hope this guide helped you put together the best Xinyan build in Genshin Impact. If you have any questions, ask them in the comments. Follow the section updates best squad builds.
The standard banner gave me all the character constellations, as if this is some kind of a tweak to my or something.. The shield is complete crap, compared even to Diona, who, as a shielder, is also so-so. Collect in damage?? Why the hell does she hit harder with her ult with her physical than with Pyro? And the total damage of the ult itself (depending on luck) is about the same as Chun Yun's, but he, for a second, has 20 units less energy, the CD seems to be shorter, and has an element that can close the reaction. This is some kind of horror, not a character. Just the bottom.
Reread the description of the second constellation. Okay, maybe I compiled it incorrectly and I went overboard with the comparison with the cast iron ult. She needs to scrape together as much Critical damage as possible and play only from the ult. Apparently this is the most optimal way to use the character.
*very sad voice* Don't stack Xinyan for damage! It's like stacking Grandpa for damage! She perfectly complements the CONTINUOUS shield of the pyro-electro pack with Chevreuse on C2. She was simply made for this. Don't hammer nails with a screwdriver. Without C2, she's an unplayable semi-finished character.
Personally, I put her in a squad with Arle, Beidou and Chevreuse. Well, and although Toma is there, I'm just tired of leveling it up.
Add a squad with Mualani - gives her a shield and a pyro for steam.
Tom would probably be better, but if you don't have him, this is a great option.
The banner was pouring out Xinyan like a horn of plenty:)
Who compiled the guide, what did you smoke? where is she sub dd? She's just a shield guy! sub DD is someone who can influence damage and throw an element after leaving. Her explosion of elements causes one-time damage and thatβs it, the whole trick in her elemental skill, created a shield and left, she needs to pump up defense since the shield depends on it. Don't embarrass yourself and redo the guide!
Don't throw a tantrum out of the blue. The guide presents 2 assemblies: for shield warrior and sap-dd. The second option is preferable for new players who have few characters. In addition, Genshin is a game about wifi gaming, no one forbids you to make a physical Chichu or Zhongli if you want to use the character as a damage dealer.
For some builds in the comments there is a question about how to make a sub-DD out of a , so in the updated builds they began to add this point where this is possible.

No matter what anyone tells me, the best pack with Xinyan is the one that doesnβt have it...
Personally, I like the girl, I run in a troop like this:
Xinyan
Cha Cha
Xiangling
Sucrose c1(damage from foodπ)
I want to improve, what should I do??? I want Furina or Navya, who will go???
In the open world, you can even collect Barbara for damage. The question is what? To extinguish mobs or to floors? For mobs, anything is good, it would be convenient. For floors, you need to carefully select a pack for each, sets, weapons ... Sports, in short. Furina and Navia are for sports, in the open world they just destroy everything they see. The rest are not really needed. A pack of Navia, Jin, Fischl, Sitlali is convenient for everything. A pack of Yanfei, Raiden, Chevreuse, Xinyan is convenient if you want to run (because the overload blows everyone to the edges)
I want to collect it to the maximum, except that Iβll leave a couple of legendary artifacts on my own.
And the prototype is archaic, after all, itβs craft? Then what is better for her, an archaic or ceremonial two-handed sword? There is also a rain cutter and a magical super sword of some ruler with roses and muskets. So what should I bet?
Well, what should we put out of this? I really want to put it together well.
Well answer me
collect in burgeon
rain cutter

Xingqiu and someone else to the double hydro team (Kandakia, her infusion allows her to play, Yelan, anyone, the main thing is to have a hydro). Nahida, bai zhu, dendro gg, yaoyao, colley
the team is working against a large number of enemies, bosses are not suitable, pump up your ult and food. In ch. stsatah ms, ms, ms. Sub stats in descending order of value: Ms, Defense%, VE%.
You press your ult first and then when it runs out, it is advisable to have Hydro Persians in the Xingqiu+Barbara, XingQiu+Kokomi variation (Iβm not sure about the Xinyan shield, thatβs why healers are so valuable). Dendro characters are the best option for nahid, she will flood enough MS, gg you use in order gg ult eshka, hydro persians, xin yang Ulta (if the second hydro is kandakia, then you stay on it and give up normal attacks)
In theory, it breaks shields well, everything that does not break dendro breaks pyro and vice versa. The assembly is as simple as possible with cookies, but against a large number of opponents the order of pumping is 90 lvl., ult=eshka customs if you use them.
I accidentally answered a question about assembly. And in of weapons not in dendro reactions, it plays well from a supersword (if you took it), if you didnβt take it, you can take snowy silver, wave shadow or white shadow on c6.
And besides the proposed ones, which are no tarts, will the end of the gladiator suit her? I donβt understand what kind of Art you suggested and where to get them!π
Please tell me what reaction she plays with? Overload?
The super conductor of the team will be approximately Xinyan, electro(Fischl, Beidou), cryo(Mika, Rosaria), the fourth one can be anyone: Hill(Barbara, Bennett is one of the best options), buffer of any kind Yun Jin, Bennett. Sub DD: xing qiu, fischl.
my favorite girl from 1.1, I plan to take her on sea lanterns, what is her verdict (signa navia)?
I take it to the lanterns too!π₯³π
I donβt know if it will fit, but if I were you, I would bet it 100%. 5* cool killing machine. π₯ο»Ώ
Best of all fives, not counting the lighthouse, calculated using aspirin https://genshin.aspirine.su/#rcagabbdaabcdaabddaabedaabBgbaabyga
I also have a question about whether itβs worth taking her from 0 purely for the waifu factor. I want to make an adequate shield, because I already have four pyro dps, and only Layla has a shield(
or maybe still take c4 Syanke or c6 Yanke
Please tell me, is it worth taking it to the sea lantern festival? I also have in mind: Yao Yao, Yanfei, and possibly Yun Jin, her plot is cool. I rarely play through pyro, except to kill cryo fern, I also rarely use two-handed weapons, I mostly play through Raiden and Xingqiu. Is it worth taking it? As I understand it, she plays through steam.
Here's a look at all the characters at last year's Lantern Rite:
https://wotpack.cuevanamovies.net/kakogo-personazha-iz-li-juje-vybrat-na-prazdnike-morskih-fonarej-2022-v-genshin-impact/
I would recommend taking Yaoyao if you want to play through Dendro (you can also play with Raiden)
Yao would be very useful for treatment, otherwise only Barbara would treat, and would flood Saino with stimulation. But Iβve already chosen Xinyan, itβs almost impossible to knock her out, and Yao, if youβre lucky, will fall from the banner. Well, if not, then Iβll take it on the next lanterns.
And also in the squad of Raiden, Yao and for example Barbara, they are rich in filling in cool vegetation, this reaction gives a lot of numbers, not the numbers themselves are big, but there are a lot of them. Although itβs probably because Raiden deals separate damage. Yeshka Yao, Yeshka Raiden, and Bara's usual attacks and you're done! Stimulation is flooded.
Who is she? I mean, lore? She is not in the storyline or side quests. What is the meaning of its existence, I do not understand?
She appeared in event quests. the girl plays rock in Li Yue, is familiar with Chun Yun, Xingqiu, Hu Tao, Yun Jin
Oh thank you. Developed well done, of course, to reveal the characters in the disappeared events. New players pov.
For the new year, she often appears in the plot
Tell me, will the Rosary squad (main-DD), Fischl, Xing Yan and Kokomi (hill) work?
Yes the squad is very good
and what will be better on c4 song of the pines or red-horned stoner?
Overclocked defenses to 3700, the shield eats a lot of damage + reduces physical resist by 15% and gives a bonus of 15% to physical damage. Under physical dd, like elol, it goes perfectly
love her best emae
So far, there are no high-level weapons. I use a Cold Blade upgraded to rank 5 and level 40. Perfectly crushes those who are under hydro and cryo stats, I'm happy)
By the way, I was wondering if the full set of pale fire counts the damage of the shield, which is cast after the ult from c2?
As far as I know, after ulting with C2, damage from shield ticks counts as elemental skill damage. Which makes her a great candidate for a full set carrier: Bloodstained Chivalry, Palefire, and Millelite. Although these sets do not sit well on it. After all, 2 + 2 Pale fire and the Knight of the Blood give a stable + 50% physical damage. And none of the sets gives more than these 50%. Well, except for Shimenawa, which increases the damage of basic attacks by 50% for 10 seconds after using the elemental skill + 18% to ATK. But here you have to abandon the ultimate, which again reduces her DPS.
Would a redhorn stonecutter be her best weapon if she had c6?
Even without c6 it will be an excellent weapon.
Isnβt the full set of the oncoming comet ideal for her? Itβs just not clear whether 4 items will work only on her or on everyone?
Only on her.
