Briefly about the events of the previous season of the anime
In the past, Taro Sakamoto was a hired killer, and no one could compare to him in this craft. One day, he meets a saleswoman named Aoi and falls in love with her. Wanting to marry this girl, Taro leaves the criminal world and becomes an exemplary family man. The couple has a daughter, Hana, and opens their own 24-hour store. Over the years of peaceful life, Sakamoto has gained weight and given up killing, but at the same time has not lost his former skills to be able to protect his family at the right time.
Years later, Taro is visited by his old friend and student, the clairvoyant Shin Asakura, who was entrusted with an important mission: to return the protagonist to the ranks of killers or, in case of refusal, eliminate him. The protagonist not only refuses to become a killer again, but also successfully saves Shin himself from his employers and gets him a job as a salesman in his shop, thereby giving him a chance to start life from scratch.
Later, Asakura and Taro meet the daughter of Chinese triads, Lu Shaotang, when they go to buy meat buns. The girl is being pursued by of another mafia clan, who killed her relatives and now want to take possession of all the treasures that belong to them. The guys save Lu, help her in this difficult situation, and after that she becomes a new member of the work collective of the Sakamoto store.
Because of these events, a one billion yen bounty is placed on the protagonist's head, after which he and his loved ones become targets for all sorts of hired killers. Some of them do not give up trying to kill Taro, some are imbued with his worldview and ideals and either become his ally, or simply decide to leave the man alone and not get involved in this whole mess.
Towards the end of the first season, a number of important events occur that dramatically change the entire situation in the world of the title. It is revealed that Shin does not have clairvoyance from birth, but received this ability as a result of experiments in a secret laboratory. This institution is captured by a group of mercenaries led by Kashima, and the new management decides to return such a valuable specimen to the laboratory walls. The kidnappers confuse Asakura and Shaotang and steal the latter.
Taro and Shin bravely rush to her aid and in the process of the mission to save their friend, they encounter a number of killers, some of whom become a serious obstacle. Certain is provided to the heroes by of the Order Shishiba and Osaragi, who have their own mission related to a certain X, who has incredible skills.
