How to beat Abyss Lector: Violet Lightning in Genshin Impact
The Voidreader fight: Purple Lightning can be divided into 2 phases: the damage phase and the shield phase. In the second phase, the player must break the Voidreader's elemental barrier. To do this, you need to deal any damage, except for Electro, to which this shield is immune. The best options would be Cryo and Elemental Pyro, and the worst would be physical damage.
Attacks and abilities
- Electro spheres. The Reader creates 3 Electro Orbs above his head and launches them at the player. All in all, they do pretty good damage. We dodge with two jerks at the moment of a volley of spheres.
- Explosion of the elements. When the player is in melee range, the reader concentrates Electro energy in their hands and then releases it in an explosion around them. Deals decent damage and knockback. It is better to break the distance while the cast lasts, the explosion radius is quite large.
- Lightning strike. The reader aims at the character's feet, and then unleashes lightning on the spot, dealing Electro damage. In the shield phase, casts the skill three times. The aiming time is long enough to leave the attack area.
- Lightning chain. The Reader summons a chain of lightning bolts that quickly attack in a straight line. During the shield phase, there are two such chains and they attack from different directions. Since the skill deals damage from multiple blasts, it's harder to dodge than it looks.
- Electro shield. When Abyss Lector: Violet Lightning reaches approximately 10% health, he activates an Electro Shield that makes him invulnerable and enhances his abilities. The shield itself can be destroyed, but it is invulnerable to Electro damage.
- Orb Ring. Only available in the shield phase. The Reader creates a ring of Electro spheres around him, which increase in size over time and shoot in different directions. They are easier to dodge if you are at a distance. Also, the skill depends on the terrain - if you stand a little lower, then the spheres will not touch the character.
Whom to take in the squad on the Electro Reader of the Abyss
By itself, the Electro Reader is quite ive. He has no special movement skills and, by and large, he just stands still and fires at the player with his spells. The most serious attack can be considered an elemental explosion. In order to avoid it, it is enough to attack from a distance. For this, it is best Ningguang, but it will be somewhat worse to destroy the shield.
In general, having a character with a shield in the group, you can not pay any attention to the attacks of this enemy. A good shield can give: Noelle (only in the role of the main dd).
So, if there is protection, the only question is the fastest possible destruction of the Reader’s elemental shield. The best characters for this are Pyro, Dendro and Cryo elements. Pyro: Dione. The latter is useful both for its shield and for permanently inflicting Cryo status with its elemental burst.
