Fast travel becomes available shortly after leaving Bunker 101, the starting location of the game. It is enough to wait for the exit to the open world.
pointers fast travel points are marked in the form of yellow flags. They can be found near most unique places. Over time, the entire map will be covered with yellow flags, so traveling any distance will no longer be a problem.
Approach the pointer to activate it. From that moment on, it becomes available for fast movement.
No need to get to the signs to use fast travel. You can simply open the world map, hover over the flag of interest and press the button to activate this feature. It's free and does not consume any resources.
Inactive fast travel points, such as near outposts or forts, can also be displayed on the world map. Depending on the type of location, you can unlock fast travel by visiting or conquering a certain place.
Unfortunately, the game does not display still not unlocked pointers on the world map. VIs can be found by exploring the world.
