Go to the farthest island in the southwest of Natlan, the boss is in the center of the new landmass, in a large arena.

Most of the Overseer's attacks are easy to dodge, although the flow pulse does quite a bit of damage until it is reset, so it is recommended to bring a healer or shielder to your party to keep the Cryo damage dealer alive.

Hydro explosion
At any distance from itself, creates a small field that explodes after a while with Hydro damage. This is the most common attack of the Automaton, so you need to watch your step carefully when attacking an enemy.
Hydro barrier
The mechanism places a small area that cannot be exited, then launches a water ball into it, dealing damage. The ball can be avoided by dashing inside the area.
Flight
The automaton creates wings and lights up with a Hydro aura. After that, it starts flying straight towards the character several times. The attack is easily avoided by running to the side.
Blade Strike
Creates first one, then two Hydro Blades, and performs a series of three strikes with them.
Flow impulse
Periodically during the battle, the enemy enters the flow impulse and starts hitting Hydro with beams. If you let the gauge fill up, there will be four beams instead of two.
When the scale is reset through Cryo damage hits, the boss will stop attacking.
Flow Impulse (Night Spirit's Blessing)

Use Cryo characters
Cryo heroes interrupt the boss's flow impulse. Continuously attack the enemy with this element until its scale drops to zero and the mechanism stops attacking. It will simply stand still, reducing its resistances, and then you can defeat the Overseer.

Either there is a mistake in the guide, or the skis are not moving. I reduced the HP to the minimum 4 times and finished off the boss, but there was no achievement. Now it's clear what was behind that fog. It turns out that it's not part of the Ash Sea, which won't be in 5.7 even though it's "Dainsleif Update 5.X". And there's a fact about this boss. In the Spiral Abyss, Imaginarium Theater, and possibly Su Jin's Danger Zone (New content in the Abyss/Theater format), he will have 380% resistance to all elements.
Correction: these 380% resistances have been removed. So you can beat this boss without Cryo. Only with the help of Natlan's character.
