How to get to the Mysterious Source Automaton: Overseer in Genshin Impact
Go to the farthest island in the southwest of Natlan, the boss is in the center of the new landmass, in a large arena.
To get there to the Mysterious Source Automaton: Overseer, you need to find two Koholasaurus on the western shore of Atokpan or use special character skills (for example, Hydro Archon Furina).
Head for the island in the distance, picking up phlogiston particles on the water to constantly use the boost. Then head for the center of the island.
Who to take into the squad to fight the Overseer
Initially, the enemy has no specific resistances - all his resistances are equal 10%However, after some time from the start of the battle, the mechanism launches an impulse that has its own scale. Attack the device with a Cryo element to reset the progress of the scale accumulation and reduce the flow impulse or stop it completely. When the Cryo scale decreases, the boss's resistance becomes equal to -70%, and the rest of the resistors are -30%.
Most of the Overseer's attacks are easy to dodge, although the flow pulse does quite a bit of damage until it is reset, so it is recommended to bring a healer or shielder to your party to keep the Cryo damage dealer alive.

Ancient Ruins Control Terminal Attacks and Abilities
To make the boss fight easier and understand how to kill the Mysterious Source Automaton: Overseer, you need to know all of its attack options and mechanics.
Hydro explosion
At any distance from itself, creates a small field that explodes after a while with Hydro damage. This is the most common attack of the Automaton, so you need to watch your step carefully when attacking an enemy.
Hydro barrier
The mechanism places a small area that cannot be exited, then launches a water ball into it, dealing damage. The ball can be avoided by dashing inside the area.
Flight
The automaton creates wings and lights up with a Hydro aura. After that, it starts flying straight towards the character several times. The attack is easily avoided by running to the side.
Blade Strike
Creates first one, then two Hydro Blades, and performs a series of three strikes with them.
Flow impulse
Periodically during the battle, the enemy enters the flow impulse and starts hitting Hydro with beams. If you let the gauge fill up, there will be four beams instead of two.
When the scale is reset through Cryo damage hits, the boss will stop attacking.
Flow Impulse (Night Spirit's Blessing)
If the boss is attacked for some time while the heroes are in a state Blessings of the Night Spirit, it will change the principle of the flow impulse. Instead of beams, it will conduct an area attack - a small area will be aimed at the character, and then explode with a Hydro pillar.

We hope this guide helped you learn how to get to the boss Mysterious Source Automaton: Overseer in Genshin Impact and defeat him. If something is unclear, ask in comments. Read a separate article that contains all of them. World and weekly opponents.
For those who went to the theater and don't know what will happen on this boss. What was said at the beginning of the guide about resistances is a lie, just impudent and disgusting. Only on cryo can you go to him, in general only on him, other characters do not cause damage to him. Because of this awesome guide I failed the last and had to replay everything, because I did not leave the necessary cryo character.
For reference, I had two cryo characters in the party, but they were Eola and Diona, who the boss doesn't give a damn about. Only cryo on him, sneeze Ganyu, Layla, knock out Escoffier, Risley and Ayaka, who are not in the banner, as you wish.
Thanks dear man
I was already hysterical that I have a pretty strong team (where there are 2 cryos) that doesn't do damage, although the units are pumped up like crazy
It's a pity you can't swim across to the first island on a dragon.
Actually, it is located to the southwest of the Atokpan Peninsula, not to the northwest.
for the achievement I took Rizli, Kaeya, Layla and Shilo. when the scale appeared I simply cast all their skills and beat them until the achievement popped up (it is not necessary to finish them off, you will get it right away). in short, take a full cryo characters, all that are there and beat them with cryo skills as much as possible during the scale
Either there is a mistake in the guide, or the skis are not moving. I reduced the HP to the minimum 4 times and finished off the boss, but there was no achievement. In the end, I decided not to touch him until the mechanics and only then began to pour in cryo and after about 8 seconds the achievement was counted without even finishing off. So if anyone still has this problem - use it))
thanks, it helped, otherwise he was dying silently and that's all
I flew with Kazuha from the top of the volcano 🥲
you can still fly to this island on a cornucopia from the top of the volcano, that's what I did... it's a shame that apart from the boss there is NOTHING on it AT ALL, in of uselessness this piece of the map is on par with the wasteland above Sumeru, but at least 3 chests could be taken from there
Now it's clear what was behind that fog. It turns out that it's not part of the Ash Sea, which won't be in 5.7 even though it's "Dainsleif Update 5.X". And there's a fact about this boss. In the Spiral Abyss, Imaginarium Theater, and possibly Su Jin's Danger Zone (New content in the Abyss/Theater format), he will have 380% resistance to all elements.
Correction: these 380% resistances have been removed. So you can beat this boss without Cryo. Only with the help of Natlan's character.
