How to start an assignment for an Attaché in a foreign land
You can get the task Attaché in a foreign land after opening daily quests in the Sumeru region with Katerina. Check out the guide at the link if you haven't already.
The quest drops out randomly and can appear in the journal any day after the update of the game servers, provided that Sumeru's orders are open. To speed up the process, enable Sumeru as your preferred region for dailies in Adventurer's Handbook. For this:
- Click "F1» or click on the notepad icon on the game screen.
- Select the "Orders».
- Set Sumeru as the desired region.
As soon as the task drops out, it can be tracked in the usual way through the journal (key J).

Once the quest is up, find the character Hambay in Port Cities of Sumeru and talk to him. During a long discussion, the attache will offer to inspect one of the Sumerian mushroom growing sites that he is purchasing. Traveler and Paimon will have to escape and collect samples of special freshly picked mushrooms (not to be confused with similar kitchen ingredients).
Gather mushrooms
To the east of Sumeru City is a gorge over which vines are stretched. Interested in Hambei grow on them freshly picked mushrooms.
Go to the location marked on the screenshot and check the huge vines: the ones you are interested in grow only on them and nowhere else.
First collect 3 pcs. on the upper, thin liana.
Then go down below, to a large curved liana. On it (exactly on top) 2 more pcs. Additional 2 samples hidden under curved liana. Check out the screenshot that captures this location.
At this point, the procedure for collecting samples for the Inazum diplomat is completed.
Bring mushrooms to Hambei
Return with the NPC and give him all the collected samples of fresh mushrooms. The head of trade will thank the Traveler and issue a quest reward.
How to get the achievement Hard at work in Genshin Impact
To earn the achievement, you need to collect from vines more than 5 fresh mushrooms, then bring the batch to Kambei. If there are leftovers in the Inventory, then the Traveler will have a new remark in the dialogue, in which he will notify the diplomat that he has collected more than he should have. Kambei will gladly take the items, and the achievement will be activated upon completion of the dialogue.

Quest rewards based on world level Attache abroad differ:
- source stones - 10.
- Adventure EXP -175-250.
- Mora - 1950-6575.
- Friendship experience - 20-60.
- Superior Enhancement Ore - 1-4 or 0-1 at high levels.
- Enchant Magic Ore - 0 or 1-4 at high levels.
