What is an amplifier

The amplifier in Zenless Zone Zero is one of the most important pieces of equipment, acting as a weapon that strengthens agents and gives them various effects. Bonuses apply both to the owners of the item, increasing certain characteristics, and to the entire squad. Rarity of amplifiers varies from 3⭐️ to 5⭐️: the more, the higher the increases in characteristics and the more unique and useful the weapon’s effects.

Each weapon item has three indicators:

  • Main parameter - the basic attack that the weapon has from the very beginning. The characteristic increases as you level up and when modified.
  • Advanced option - an additional characteristic that also increases with leveling.
  • Effect — a unique item enhancement that is activated by characters of the required specialty. Improved by combining identical amplifiers.

Each amplifier is intended for agents of a specific specialty: the effect will only be triggered by characters of the corresponding class. Weapons can also be given to characters of other specialties, but in this case they will receive only basic and advanced increases in parameters, but will not be able to use the ive effect.

When choosing a weapon for a character, all amplifiers that suit his class are first shown, and then the weapons of other specialties are shown. If you try to issue a weapon to another specialty, you will see a corresponding red warning.

How to get the amplifier in Zenless Zone Zero

Amplifiers in ZZZ can be obtained in a large number of ways: some drop out randomly from banners, while others can be purchased specifically in in-game stores. Next, we will analyze all the possible ways to obtain weapons.

A toy shop

The main source of obtaining amplifiers is signal search, presented in four variations:
