Where to Bow to Buddha Statues in Black Myth Wukong: Four Locations
After defeating the boss Star of Kangjin The chosen one will meet a boar-man, accompanied by whom he will have to through Bitter Lake. At the end of the path you will reach Corridor of Vows and you will encounter the little monk again, and also find that the age further is closed:
"No, that won't do. I can't help you unless you have what it takes. Enter every temple on your way, worship every Buddha you see. Otherwise, the true face of the Buddha will continue to elude your gaze."
So, to continue exploring the New West, you will have to bow to Buddha. To do this, you need to find four monk statues and touch them. All key objects can be found one by one, following one route.
Buddha statue 1
After the cutscene with the little monk, turn left and look at the monument at the foot of the mountain - this is the first statue of Buddha. Go to the landmark and examine it. If you did everything correctly, the boar man will say a certain phrase:
"I get it! That boy mentioned four Buddha statues... So we have to bow four times! Stupid monk. You can't argue with him."
Buddha statue 2
Turn away from the first monument and then walk straight along the stone paving stones until you come across a steep staircase. Continue down and you will find yourself in a dark cave.
When the stonework ends, continue straight ahead until you reach the first fork. At the fork, turn right - around the corner is the second Buddha statue.
Buddha statue 3
On the opposite side of the second Buddha is a hidden age to the next statue: go back to the stairs, go a little further and look into the stone arched vault. Then run through the snow to the very end of the corridor.
Once you reach a dead end, turn left and you will find yourself in an open area. All that remains is to go down to the foot of the mountain - on the right edge is the third Buddha statue.
Buddha statue 4
From the third Buddha monument, take the following route: pay attention to the temple doors in the nearest corner, inside the rock you will have to go a long way through winding tunnels, but there are no forks there - go straight ahead, focusing on the red walls.
At the end of the route you will encounter a rise that will lead you to a small cave. The fourth Buddha statue is hidden in a dark corner on the left side of the stone temple.
After interacting with the last monument, you will need to talk to the little monk again.
You can return to the baby Buddha right from the fourth statue. Go towards the light, come out to the snowy cliff and go down using the fence and nearby boulders.
If you did everything correctly, a cutscene will start, after which the path to the upper tier of the current location will be open for the Chosen One. The beginning of the ascent is on the right side of the "gazebo" where you first met the little monk.
Follow the stairs along the cliffs until you reach the top. Then head forward, following the tall man-made monuments, and you will find yourself in front of a wide rise that leads to the next area of the New West.
